A funky discofilled mixtape from NYC producer/dj Jacques Renault for UK club night Streets Of Beige, perfect for a monday morning and this has us dancing around the office.

“The four pillars of Beige have always been flaunted but disco still hasn’t been represented on the mix front. So it’s a great pleasure to have our first one curated by none other than Jacques Renault, a New York disco legend who transcends his US roots to bring slavish, daring beats to UK shores. Wolf + Lamb – Live at Rescue Beats, Panama City

Thought by many to be responsible for the resurgence of “grown ass folk dance music”, New York label Wolf + Lamb (formed by Gadi Mizrah and Zev Eisenberg) has been responsible for releasing an abundance of heated, sleazy but sophisticated house jams over the past years. In the words of the label: “Since then, it has grown to include three record labels, well over 100 community dances — and counting, a clothing line, a legendary 6 star hotel and club, and, their new line of organic pet food: Woof & Lamme.”

Thanks to the folks at Red Bull Music Academy Radio we’ve got Wolf + Lamb’s performance at the Panama Jazz Festival in Casco Viejo, including an exclusive second hour that you’ll only find here. Turn it up and get lost in the vibes.

Automatik / Jim Jones – Go Cinderella (Kingdom Edit)

Kingdom’s latest release on Night Slugs was amazing for the eerie, mist filed forest dance floor vibe that it conjured up, but there’s something I find almost even more exciting about the superb edits of mainstream tracks that he’s been putting out regularly.

Often showing his influences in a more direct way, these edits aren’t afraid to substantially rework the tracks, whether that means cutting Kanye & Jay Z out of “Monster”, taking Sean Kingston out of his duet with Nicki Minaj, or in this case taking out all the rapping and just leaving in a trancelike synth line and Jim Jones hoarsely yelling “I need y’all to rewind this and play it from the top!” Will do, Jim Jones. Will do.
