uluru

Urulu – The World To Me

Mysteriously anonymous LA producer Urulu offers up an exclusive new track for us today. “The World To Me” scales up a mountain of percussion & smoke machine expulsions and brings in a big vocal sample backed by tinny drums that keeps rising in your ears until it’s almost deafening, before the whole thing collapses into itself and rolls back out into silence. It’s intelligent, emotive dance music that builds on itself really well, all qualities that you’ll probably find a lot more of on Urulu’s debut EP, dropping this February on Get Flavor Records. Backed by three excellent original tracks and a remix from recent Discobelle Records signees Prince Club, Urulu’s a producer you should perk up your ears when you hear about in the coming months.

Kantillo

Stockholm techhouse outfit Boeoes Kaelstigen just released their third and final single track from their debut album “Tanum Teleport”, “Kantillo” is described as:

“…The most energetic and sunrise compatible track of them all. Kantillo’s main ingredients are cold drips of water pouring down an abandoned communications facility somewhere on the countryside.”

Remixes comes from a handful of talented friends such as: Andycap, Anosou, Blunt Force, Åbäke and Rutger Hofbahn.

Worthy – Big Perm (Femme En Fourrure remix)

Last week San Francisco producer and Dirtybirder Worthy brought out the big guns with his “Big Perm” release right here on Discobelle Records, get your big perm on and shake it to this smashing EP. And now to entice you even more, we give you the sexy and luscious remix from Helsinkis very own Femme En Fourrure. Enjoy and go ahead and grab the full EP on Beatport, Boomkat, Juno or iTunes.

“Beware. The perm is back.

Discobelle’s new release from San Francisco’s Worthy is a percolating tech-house ass shaker infused with enough oomph to make you sweat until you’ve messed up your hair. An infectious vocal sample and an uncontainable bubbling vibe make this one peak hour jacking tech-house at its best.

Accompanying the original, we’ve got three great remixes to round out the package from Worthy – Harvard Bass, Renaissance Man and Femme En Fourrure. First up, Harvard Bass gives a chunky, infectious bruiser that strikes a perfect balance between the deeper dancefloors and the uncontrollable, messier ones. Then, architects-turned-house-music-innovators Renaissance Man turn Worthy’s track into a sparse and icy percussive techno journey, continuing to push house music to deeper, stranger places.”

Fail Forever (dOP Remix)

New music from “When Saints Go Machine”, which includes the two members of organic tech house duo Kenton Slash Demon. The melody of “Fail Forever,” which matches the alienated feeling of the lyrics, is one of the first things to draw listeners in to the track. dOP strip away many of the embellishments for their remix, placing the vocal atop a propulsive rhythm constructed from the very human sounds of handclaps and incidental percussion. The technique highlights the vocal line, while adding an imperative to make listeners move.

The Fail Forever EP will be released February 1st on !K7 with a full length album due Spring 2011.
