Charli XCX – Stay Away (SALEM’S Angel remix) (video)

London singer Charli XCX is set to release her new single “Stay Away” on May 16th through This Is Music. Scary American outfit SALEM put their stamp on the original track with sweeping synths and shattering beats that suspends the track into an “Angel Remix”.

Monarchy – I Won’t Let Go (video)

Monarchy unveils the video for their new track “I Won’t Let Go”, this is the latest in the line of singles from their soon to be released debut album (drops in June on Moda). The release is available on 12″ and digital with remixes coming from Australian veteran duo Bag Raiders, Belgian outfit Mustang and Sam Tiba who happens to be one of our favorite French producers/dj’s so we’re definetely looking forward to this.

Richard Richard – Garbure

Richard Galling aka Richard Richard is a music producer, visual artist, DJ, and foodie, residing in Milwaukee. Much of his musical influence origins from his close proximity to Chicago and Detroit. His productions echoes of early Chicago house sounds paired up with Detroit techno futurism. Richard is also one half of The Glamour. Richard Richard just dropped the fantastic sounding “Garbure EP” on NYC label Plant Music and it’s already been praised by the likes of DJs such as Feadz, Larry Tee, Acid Jacks, Stereo MCs, Them Jeans, Acid Washed and many more.

Moombahton Spring Live Mix

DJ FYS aka BINGO – Moombahton Spring Live Mix

Our buddy DJ Daruma (of the Dexpistols crew) over in Tokyo e-mailed us to ensure us that he’s well after the catastrophes that hit Japan a few weeks ago, he also wanted us to hear this smooth and melodic moombahton flavoured mix from his good friend DJ FYS aka BINGO. Perfect mix for office fun like racing down the hallway in your office chairs.

Square Mode – The Wheel

Instead of making a jam for the clubs, French upstarts Square Mode give us a track from their Anchor Factory debut EP that recalls some of the moodier moments of DNTEL’s soft spoken electronic ambient vibes, livened up a bit with enough echoing synth and clappy drums to keep you riveted for the duration of its seven and a half minute journey.

Seeing an track paced in such a careful way is a pleasure, and while it’s not going to be this year’s “Wut”, it’s absolutely the kind of thing that leaves you melancholy and wanting more of singer Alexy Gredy’s subtle voice when it’s finished.

You can stream the whole remix EP on Soundcloud, and grab it from iTunes.

PS. Be sure to check out an upcoming EP from Square Mode here on Discobelle Records…
