Bangla: Magadhan language spoken by the Bengali people; the official language of Bangladesh.

Bangla: The new release on Discobelle Records from prodigious sewer dwellers Teenage Mutants, stuffed with jacking drums and some obese basslines that would put a crowd of Texan buffet goers to absolute shame.

Check out Teenage Mutants mix they did to promote their new release on Discobelle Records. Then go to Beatport, Boomkat, Turntable Lab or Itunes and get the whole thing. It got some amazing tracks on it with remixes from non other then Lars Moston, Coconut Wireless and Slap In The Bass. It’s a must buy!

But don’t just trust us. It got support and plays from Sinden, Switch, Malente, Tony Senghore, Neoteric, joyce muniz, MikIX The Cat, Camel, ACT YO AGE and many many more!

And as a bonus we are also giving away the Slap In The Bass remix!

Every week we join our friends at Babylon to recommend a new track for their listeners. This week the program is on break but we have something else for you guys instead. Babylon and EMI just launched a new remix contest. It’s Useless Wooden Toys track “Il Tirannosauro” that all producers out there has a chance to put their twist to and if it’s good enough it will be featured on the forthcoming Tirannosauro EP that EMI are releasing on Itunes this summer!

Download the vocals from the track here.

Enter your track before July 13th to this address. The winner will be picked by UWT, Babylon staff and EMI Music.

Good Luck!

Hard to contain one’s excitement for new LOL Boys material when their press pics deliver in a deeply visceral satisfying way that few things in the world do, but also because it’s near impossible to predict where their direction will be going. One track, it’s a sweat soaked percussion rave buzzing with static electricity, and then they flip the script and give us a jam like LDR, an evocative “not quite slow jam but 95% there” that employs some longing drenched vocals to devastatingly precise effect.

It sounds like discovering a rainforest oasis that’s only accessible through a hidden glitch in Second Life, and feels as refreshing as diving into it. This track is part of a Scion collaborative EP that you can read more about on XLR8R.

LOL BOYS – Porteils

Kinda like riding on the back of a bald eagle, Theophilus London’s latest single gets a Soul Clap remix that makes you feel like you’re soaring through the clouds. Theo’s contributions are still left in, but muted in the background, like he’s rapping in the room down the hall. It’s not quite a dub, but pretty close to it, and the vibe here is similar to the brief period of bliss after the free in-flight drinks have been served, right before the turbulence.
