Malente & Zero Cash – I’ll Be There (video)

Check the video for the new Malente & Zero Cash track “I’ll Be There” which is released on No Brainer Records and it was directed, stuffed with EFX and cut by Zero Cash himself.

Grab the whole release with Light Year, Modek and Kill Frenzy Remixes + the track “Hardware” on Beatport now and then in two weeks everywhere else.

By the way, don’t forget about the ‘Spirit of Malente remix Competition‘ that we’re running til October 15th. We’ve already received some dope mixes, but it’s not too late for you to hand in yours.

The Magician ft. Jeppe – I Don’t Know What To Do (Plastic Plates Remix)

Expect nothing less than… MAGIC with this new single from The Magician. See what I did there? Music journalism of the year right there. Sorry, sometimes there’s just not a lot to say about a track that can’t be experienced much more viscerally by just listening to it.

Backed by vocals from Jeppe (yeah, the “I’ll GET YOU!” shrieking fellow from Classix’s former single), Plastic Plates filter this one through the fluorescent washing machine that’s leaking down in the basement of their studio and the results sound like summer might be sticking around for a little bit longer.

You Don’t Want To Dance With Me

London electropop duo Monarchy had a strong summer single with the track “Maybe I’m Crazy” and now, just in time for when the leaves start to change color, with a hypnotic and pulsating synth-pop gem albeit not as upbeat as their previous single seeing as it deals with the burden of love ignored. “You Don’t Want To Dance With Me” is due for release on October 24th and features sultry guest vocals from Britt Love. We here at Discobelle can offer you a glitchy, garage remix courtesy of Bondax.

Azealia Banks

Only 19 but fierce and with a flow that outshines alot of established rappers out there, here’s Harlem born Azealia Banks with the club track “212″. (Via Julie Machin)

Terius Nash (The-Dream) – Long Gone

WOAH! Terius looking gym-fit here, in a video featuring all the staples of luxury: Rolls Royce, chandeliers and of course, really really long tables.

laurynhill

LAURYN HILL – DOO WOP (DEEBS BOOTLEG)

Will Diebel (also known to some in the music community as Deebs) is one of the hotter artists on Get Flavor records lately, with his Dollop EP delivering a good invigorating kick into spastic, unpredictably fun dance music.

No better way to get through the week than with this tasteful Lauryn Hill bootleg, perfect for smoke filled rooms and blasting out the back seat of your Cadillac. Download it below and get moving.

renaisssssssssance

Renaissance Man – What Do You Do When You Do What You Do

Renaissance Man are smart guys. Sure, that doesn’t affect their status as dancefloor magic workers, as has been repeatedly proven through their Dubsided, Sound Pellegrino and Made To Play releases, but ever since the squeaky graffiti tinged stomp of “Spraycan” came reverberating through the speakers of nightclubs worldwide, there was something else underneath the veneer of twerked out tech house club music.

Their upcoming debut LP on Turbo Recordings may be fleshing out the brainy side of Renaissance Man a bit more, as it’s already been called “a MENSA-level dissection of contemporary dance music”, and if first single “What You Do When You Do What You Do” is any hint of what the rest of the album will sound like, it’s bound to be an organic, earthy descent into the mechanics of making people move. Seeing how the single’s been assembled with primarily organic sound is also fantastic and explains a bit more about Renaissance Man’s recent interest in foley art.

01 What Do You Do When You Do What You Do (Vocal Version) by Turbo Recordings

We’ve also got a Matthew Herbert remix up for streaming, which is considerably less grim and more enjoyable than his recent “One Pig” album, a rather grim techno affair chronicling he life of a pig from birth to death, basing the music around inspiration from his weekly visits. But while “One Pig” might be a vegan’s nightmare concept album, on his remix of “What Do You Do”, Herbert adds some atmospheric vocals and brings his own slightly balding, twisted, borderline crazy pop sensibility to the table.

02 What Do You Do When You Do What You Do (Matthew Herbert’s Little Liar Remix) by Turbo Recordings

Das Racist – Amazing

Even though “Amazing” doesn’t appear on Das Racist’s debut album “Relax”, the new video that Weird Days x House Plants made for the track is bound to be overlooked in the wake of all the rightful hubbub about the new single “Michael Jackson” and accompanying self-released album on Greedhead.

Which is a shame, because this video is quintessentially everything enjoyable about Das Racist – Kool A.D with his shirt off, Dapwell acting like Lil’ Debbie from Kreayshawn’s “Gucci Gucci” video, and lots of “not too serious but clever enough to make you guffaw” lyrics.

Buy Relax on iTunes or Amazon now.

Also: Did you know that Das Racist once freestyled over Girl Unit’s “Wut”? Including a rare verse from spiritual advisor / hypeman Dapwell?
