In 2009, I quietly recorded an ‘all Gospel based, Boogie-Funk’ mix for Stones Throw. That mix was released as one of their many podcast, but was ‘cut down’ due to bandwidth rules on the record labels site. Well, here as I had promised (as a gift for all & after being repeatedly asked by many friends whom connected with my creativity, while on the road, about this full version) is the entire ‘un-edited’ recording to coincide with your holiday seasons festivities & listening pleasures in 2011 & beyond… All ‘original wax pressings’ were used for this mix. The Captain – Living The Dream Part 1

The weekend is saved thanks to Trouble & Bass vice-president The Captain and his new mix of The Dream tracks.

“Some of you may know, I’m a big fan of R&B, but a huge fan of The Dream and love all his work. So I decided I wanted to do a mix of everything he’s done, after compiling a good amount of songs he’s produced, sang on, Remixed, etc, I realized I had so much of his work that I decided to turn this into a 3 part mix. Each mix will each be a little different, but much alike all The Dream’s tune, the main theme is always Love. Here’s Part I.”
