Dances With White Girls – It’s About The House

It’s hard to forget someone when they go by the name Dances With White Girls, the NYC based producer/dj backs up his ballsy name with this aptly titled Chicago house riddled anthem “It’s About The House” that was just released by fellow New Yorkers in Plant Music. The track bumps a repeated vocal atop a driving beat and menacing synth stabs that should get the dancefloors going in no time.

To add some extra flavour, Dances With White Girls just made this new mix.

King Krule – The Noose of Jah City (video)

Wow. Just wow.

17-year old London wonder kid Archy Marshall just to go under the moniker Zoo Kid but is now known as King Krule. He just released his debut EP under the new name and has been praised by everyone from The Guardian to Pitchfork. This is a pretty accurate description of King Krule:

“Beautiful tales of discontent; guitar-led dub lullabies, swathed in his distinctive, sneering vocals. He spits lyrics like a punk and plays guitar like a jazz maestro, all the while looking like he’s just stepped off the set of This Is England ’11.”

Beni (ft. Via Tania) – Zig Zags

Australian producer Beni just released his debut album “House Of Beni” from which we lifted the track “Zig Zags” that features the delicate vocals of Via Tania. This is not the club banger that you would expect from Beni but instead it’s a breeze of light with a soft piano lingering underneath.

Willy Joy – Superhuman

Chicago producer/dj Willy Joy returns to Trouble & Bass with todays release of his “Whispering Woods” single. He’s part of Trouble & Bass Bookings which means that he’s been touring all over North America during the last year, recently dropped an EP on Diplo’s Mad Decent imprint + he’s made tons of remixes for the likes of Hostage, Kastle, Treasure Fingers etc!

“Superhuman” is the second track on the EP and it sees Willy provide us with a jacking groove and a bonerattling bass all atop tropical drums to create what feels like an unstoppable dancefloor monster.
