“For those that have been keeping a close eye and ear on us recently, you may have noticed we penned a new genre in Zulu House. We did it first and we do it best. We thought you might be interested in the following mix which acts as a definition of ZULU. Its quite straightforward but for those still a little unsure…
Zulu is banging on drums. Zulu is congas and cowbells. Zulu is a relentless kick drum. Zulu is rhythm. Zulu is jacking til you sweat. Zulu is old and new. Zulu is Get Rude. Zulu is a feeling. Zulu is that low down wobble you sometimes feel. Zulu is a familiar feeling. Zulu is fresh. Zulu is bass. Zulu is bigger than you and its totally okay to feel a little intimidated right now.”

We southern Malmo folks at Discobelle need to give some love to Stockholm for producing some really nice vibes these days.
Paragon is releasing his new album “Glöd” today (yeah, it’s in the universal language Swedish). This tracks produced by Howard Who features nice rave stabs and some cut up Adam Tensta vocals.
Maybe you need something to get you through the day, Mondays can be a bitch. This cheered me up and got the peeps at the Discobelle HQ to bump their heads.
“Here is my new Fix-tape i`ve been grinding on for the last 6 months…It’s full of crazy new tracks i made, including my single with Doug E Fresh & the official remix for Chamillionaire(!!).”
Hipster streetwearbrand NAME Ribbon Clothing releases a special USB stick with an exclusive mix hosted by Rye Rye and mixed by Cobra Krames. Tracklist and more info here.
We got a special treat for you tonight. Here’s a collaboration by Alphabeat, FrankMusik & Leon Jean-Marie when they take on Daft Punks “Digital Love” from the album “Discovery”. Trying to stay true to the original this small supergroup still manage to bring forward new dimensions and makes this into a fresh tune for your summer in love. Daft Punk took the riff from “I Love You More” by George Duke when they created the song. For me this is culture borrowing, covering, sampling, copying or answering is only natural form of human development and cultural exploration. And fun aswell.
Keep you eyes open for more from Alphabeat on discobelle.net in a near future.
