We got a special treat for you tonight. Here’s a collaboration by Alphabeat, FrankMusik & Leon Jean-Marie when they take on Daft Punks “Digital Love” from the album “Discovery”. Trying to stay true to the original this small supergroup still manage to bring forward new dimensions and makes this into a fresh tune for your summer in love. Daft Punk took the riff from “I Love You More” by George Duke when they created the song. For me this is culture borrowing, covering, sampling, copying or answering is only natural form of human development and cultural exploration. And fun aswell.

CCC threw this at us. Well, this mashup was bound to happen sooner or later! During the last year they have made a ton of remixes on heavy labels such as Southern Fried and Kitsuné. Now they have a new EP “Pepites” out on Beatport with remixes from Mixhell and others.

Our friend Emynd always makes us happy with his nicely cut edits and remixes. This one has a sweet discofeel to it with a touch of B-more to make us hipsters smiling. Also, be sure to check out Emynds remix of the huge South Rakkas song “Mad Again” that’s on the digital release.

“I’ve always loved the OG of this song and wanted to make a version that would fit in aesthetically with some of the stuff I’ve been playing lately. So, I kept it pretty simple: extended it, boosted it up with some four on the floor drums and a bit of tastefulsynth additions. The Malmö dj Wilsson Soto along with Jonas and Jesper from Rawdeluxshit put their minds together and did a afrobassfunk remix of Sofie Hellborg’s “It’s OK Now”. It’s gonna be released on Ajabu Records.

The track “It’s OK Now” is taken from Sofi Hellborgs new record “Drumming Is Calling” that drops tomorrow.

Its positive message and feel good vibe made a terrible day a bit easier to cope with.

New Judas and Top Billin releases a new split EP with tracks from both camps. New original songs by Top Billin, Downtown and Les Gillettes on saturday. And to celebrate they are throwing a party at the infamous Villa in Berlin. The Villa was a good place to celebrate New Years Eve and should be the perfect spot for a releaseparty.

They were kind enough to let us share one of the tracks.

The Italian house producer Nic Sarno has a new EP out with a couple of really nice jackin house tracks and there is a nice remix from our fave HiJack. I know that we already did a HiJack post today but what can I say, jackin house happens to be my favorite flava at the moment and then this drops in the mailbox.

Unfortunately it’s only in 128 kbs but u can cop it in higher quality over at Juno.
