SAINTS – Blind, I

Sep 30 2017

Who is SAINTS? This is my first time hearing of the electro R&B alias, and instantly I am intrigued. After a debut single with KRANE, the follow up “Blind, I,” out on Lowly Palace’s urban imprint Lowly, ties together dissonant chords and percussion to create a soft and luscious R&B bed for the unnamed vocalists enigmatic and soul infused lyrics to lay upon.

ABRA – NOVACANE

Sep 29 2017

Her one-of-a-kind voice and innovative, unparalleled style of production make Atlanta singer-songwriter ABRA a force to be reckoned with. “NOVACANE,” her latest, showcases her expertise in making beats while allowing them to breathe as her pitched down vocals gently intertwine.

With Midnight Pool Party you always know exactly what you are going to get- good vibes, move-ya-body beats, & the essence of lush disco dance and their latest single “Signals” is no exception. I’m willfully prepared to have this track on repeat while grasping to the fleeting feelings of warmth that come with Summer’s departure.

NEW OBSESSION: this 11:11 long minimix courtesy of Pluto. Yes I made a wish at the end- for a volume 2! Easy listening and craftful production to help you get through the work day.

Every KRANE track I hear becomes my favorite over the last and watching the evolution of his artistry has been a joyful ride. I typically find myself gravitating towards laid-back, downtempo tracks, however KRANE’s focused and bass driven style of production is exactly what I’ve been craving lately.

South France producer Khamsin puts his good-vibe-infused electronic twist on ZHU’s indie pop gem “Hometown Girl.” Perfect driving music for these last few weeks of warm weather, enjoy!

WOOOOAH mindblown. We just featured a new track from TastyTreat last week, and since then they’ve returned with yet another incredibly produced, and incredibly different piece of sonic art, “Summer (Don’t Go).” An indie dance vintage vibe dripping in lighthearted soulful lyrics reminiscing on Summer’s inevitable kiss goodbye. I am a huge fan.

“Summer (Don’t Go)” comes as the fourth release on Lowly Palace’s urban imprint: Lowly.

Another bass infused pop gem has emerged from Cloudkid Records courtesy of Belgium producer LIHO and vocalist Akacia- “Cold Drinks & Cool Friends.” This high energy, synth-pop banger is the perfect anthem to help wrap up your summer parties and welcome the fall.
