The awesome people over at Toronto based label Badlqqk drops their second “Rookies” compilation and it’s filled to the brink with booming music from fresh and exciting talent from various parts of the globe.

Here’s what Oggie James, blogger & Radio Humber personality had to say about the tracks featured on the compilation.

MAGNVM! – Oh Dear
Imagine Porky Pig taking you on a tour of some ancient ruins, ending with an alien abduction and outer space dance off.

Crowd Control – I House You
Straight from France, this unapologetic old school house track is a rollercoaster you’ll never want to get off.

La Touche Francaise – Do That House
From the dimly lit clubs of Lille, comes La Touche Francaise with a good old groove number. French touch indeed.

Weston & Teston vs. Marco Marz – Booty Bitches
Incomparable measurements emerge from the shadows, stalking its prey while bouncing rhythmically. Rather soothing.

FnKey & A.D.M. – Rad Town
An acid drizzle on a classic sample has this all Italian collab as flavourful as an authentic slice of pizza.

Vryko – They Try
Extremely intimidating, Vryko is not one to be trifled with; those that try suffer the wrath of his booming bass.

Cherriep – Party Starter
Schizophrenic sampling from Toronto’s Cherriep leads this twisted take on house to licentious levels. Frighteningly feverish.

Fibretalk & CVPELLV – Charlie (ft. Will Mills)
When the bottom drops out you’ll find yourself picking up your teeth with a broken arm, wondering what just happened.

Produser – Ritual
Sporting event atmosphere amidst whistles, chanting crowds, explosive engineering and pulsing, fever-pitch intensity.

So Durand – Buttdial
Buttdial sneaks up on you, capturing your consciousness with unparalleled drum design, sublime synths and samples.

New UK based label Strangelove heads out of the gate at breakneck speed March 3rd with their smashing inaugural release “A Little Weird EP” which comes from prolific SF-based producer, Anabatic Records founder, Dirtybird affiliate and Discobelle fam Worthy.

The title track is offered right here as a Discobelle exclusive premiere and it’s an hypnotic, acid bleeped out, bass filled techy monster that will leave clubs in shambles.

Montreal dance music star Tiga returns to the dancefloor and to Turbo Recordings with new single “Eye Luv U” (co-produced by Quinn of Paranoid London) which is his first new material since last years “Blondes Have More Fun” release.

“Eye Luv U” will be the first of a series of releases from Tiga on Turbo in 2017, including a fresh collaboration with Audion aka Matthew Dear.

“The title came to me while I was playing a pyramid that had been converted into a multi-purpose event space,” says the Canadian DJ/Producer. “The hieroglyphics over what is now the coat check made me imagine a world in which pictures could mean words and words could mean anything. The thing about wordplay is that it’s fascinating to conceive of different realities informed by different systems of meaning, and how each reality would invariably bend to vault me to the pinnacle of all possible worlds. It’s humbling, really.”

We here at Discobelle have been following Tiga’s career closely since we started 10 years ago and we’re super pleased to be able to premiere the remix from German producer/dj Butch who wins us over with his amazing “80s Warehouse Acid Remix”, that title pretty much gives away exactly what you’ll hear with hypnotic squelchy pads and bleeps.

And as an added bonus, Nils Schéle – a prolific Stockholm based dj – did this exclusive mix of grooved out awesomeness that serves as a prelude to the Into The Valley extravaganza this summer. Nils chose some of the tracks he likes to play at the moment and recorded the mix live in his living room. He suggests you listen to the mix to get in the right mood for the party.

Rex The Dog is here to make sure you have the best summer ever.

Following his return on Kompakt this year with his Sicko EP, Rex The Dog (aka Jake Williams) teams up with the label to bring us just over an hour of acid infused techno, funky slow burning house music and just about everything in-between. With live sets scheduled throughout summer and a new EP set to be released later this year, this mix is just a taste of what we can expect from Williams in 2015.
