Discobelle exclusive premiere of the new single “Coffee” from Texas born but now residing in Los Angeles electronic producer Tocaio (AKA Carlos Ramirez).

Tocaio released his debut EP back in early 2017 and has steadily been expanding with streams on Spotify where he’s currently sitting at about 200 000 monthly streams and rising, his upcoming album “Auragraph” will be released later this year and “Coffee” is the first taste of that album. You’ll be able to pre-order the new album on Feb 9th. When you pre-order “Auragraph” from Bandcamp, you’ll receive an instant download to “Coffee” and the rest of the album when it releases in April.

The track itself is a beautifully arranged ambient and soothing affair with an organic soundscape of swooping synths and delicate beats.

Swedish/Berlin-based duo The Ghost Of Helags drop their first single of 2018, the absolutely beautiful and dreamlike pop/trance track “Anthem (we came from the stars)” was released last week. The track is an ode to the German urban sanctuary that is Berlin where a lot of artists, dropouts and ghosts came to search for their Northern star.

Having worked with rappers such as Lil YAchty and Tory Lanez, Los Angeles producer D33J is ready to release his solo album “Death Valley Oasis” via Anticon on September 8. The lead single “Black Ice” is ambient sounding house music that belongs in darkness.

Atlanta-based producer and multi-instrumentalist acaer is back with a new single titled, “hello.” Eclectic, unorthodox, but sonically pleasing, “hello” is the second single to be unveiled from the forthcoming Filet Mignon 5 compilation via Parisian powerhouse Record Record. He had this to say about his newest single: “This track came out of the recording session of a now-scrapped project and because of that is very spontaneous and a lot of individual pieces all mashed together. The human element added by repitched and manipulated vocals is something I’ve always been a fan of and wanted to really emphasize here. It’s a collage of different emotions and musical ideas that I wouldn’t have guessed fit together yet do.”

Ember Island’s melancholic covers are becoming an essential hallmark of Sweden’s more pensive pop prospects. Picking up where their renowned versions of ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ and ‘Creep’ left off, their nod to Rihanna’s sacred moment of lovestruck pop work plays into all the cinematic and emotive movements we’ve come to expect from the trio to date. Ten years to the date since the original dropped, Ember Island’s is an essential update for 2017.
