“Nabu Network” is a colorful journey into the musical mind of Sorcerer (Daniel Saxon Judd). Soulful balearic tempos and tropical tones swim with sparkling guitars and uplifting melodies on this awesome pan-global journey from the disco to the rainforest. This exciting release is the first 12″ on Universal Cave Records and features some of the California artist’s strongest works to date. The EP is made up of three original Sorcerer jams and a Universal Cave remix. Sorcerer’s legacy continues to float on with “Nabu Network.”

The weather outside (at least in LA) has been a strange mixture of hot, cold, and weird rain, but LA artist Andrew Grant is helping us get through the week with his newest track “Slow Burn.”

This is the perfect Discobelle track, and we’re so excited to premiere this with you today. Teaming up with fellow Angelenos RKCB, the artist crafts together a melodic piece with “slowly plucked high notes and ominous synths”. It’s moving, impactful, and still tinged with a light enough attitude that we love on the site. Tuesdays can be tough, get through it with this one!

The tag team known as In Flagranti (Alex Gloor and Sasha Crnobrnja) have been honing their skills for over a decade now with a focus on the sounds of eclectic and mind bending cosmic disco.

They just finished a dope remix for Londoner Kiwi and his “Animals Remixes EP” which will drop November 9th via Duke Dumont label Blasé Boys Club.

The duo celebrates the release with this superb mixtape that we here at Discobelle can offer exclusively. The mixtape is one of hour of funked up and spaced out disco that will get you moving in no time.

Johan Agebjörn (the producer for Swedish disco princess Sally Shapiro) will release his “Notes” album on Canadian label Paper Bag Records February 10th (at the same time a new vinyl edition of the excellent Sally Shapiro debut album “Disco Romance” will be released), the concept album starts out from the electronic piano sound of the Casio MT-52 and slants towards an ambient sound but with influences from pop and disco.

On the album, Johan Agebjörn has collaborated with Swedish balearic pop gods Korallreven and we at Discobelle are proud to premiere their remix of the track “The Right To Play”, a remix that starts out as a lush, softspoken and dreamlike discoish influenced track with a whisper of a piano only to emerge into a full blown euphoric anthem (watch out for the ravelike break).
