Hong Kong born but now residing in Berlin artist Bonnie Li received a ton of support last year with the release her “Plane Crash” EP, she now returns with news of her debut studio album “W? Men” which is slated for release via Icons Creating Evil Art on January 25th 2019.
We here at Discobelle can premiere the brand new and stellar looking “Lynchian film noir” video for album single track “I Want You To Die”, Bonnie tells us she’s portraying “a sublime relational drama in a sleepy bar.”
On the track, we get a pulsating bassline and sparsely used electronics, with Bonnie Li’s distinctly identifiable voice floating over the track with the tortured confidence of a woman in ecstasy.
Miami based singer-songwriter CALICA just released an absolutely salacious single ‘Give &Take’. Her latest is a dreamy, retro wave creation filled with blissful guitars and angelic vocals. She will definitely be an artist on my radar.
“Myrarn” is the first single to emerge from London based Swedish producer Saturday, Monday’s (AKA Ludvig Parment) upcoming debut album “Irises” and the single will be released tomorrow Friday October 19th.
The cinematic and dreamy pop track with a subtle production consists mostly of a live recording of the “Zadar sea organ” played by the waves of the Adriatic and is accompanied by the delicate voice of young Swedish talent Noomi.
“The song is about the moment you realize that your indetermination and inability to express your true feelings has driven the person you actually care about the most into the arms of someone else. It’s about failing to act on opportunity and the remorseful dwelling that tend to follow.”
