Brand new single release from Swedish artist Elias, “Focus” serves as a prelude to his upcoming debut album which is set to be released later this year. “Focus” is produced by Humble & Blisse and is a beautiful, dreamlike pop masterpiece evoking visions of grandeur.
“It’s about me leaving a relationship and getting on with my life. I’m conflicted about it, but I know that it’s something that I have to do – I think people can relate to that. Sometimes you have to choose to leave something behind when it’s not working anymore.”
London based artist Parker could be described as a darker and moodier version of Lana Del Rey but that would be too simple. She makes dark but dancey electronic pop music for those nights when you want to belt out lyrics and dance around in your living room while drunk on emotion and alcohol. Check out the premiere of the video for her single track “Doubles” (released via Killing Moon Records) right here on Discobelle.
The Ghost of Helags are a Swedish duo based in Berlin and they provide us with “shy Scandinavian electronica-pop” filtered through Berlin grit. They released an EP back in March and are now working on the follow-up release as well as a European tour.
The dreamlike track “Wildest Dreams” is an exquisite piece of piano based electronic pop with stunning and hypnotizing vocals.
“This new song is a tribute to Nature and to Dreams, both scary and stunningly beautiful. The track itself was recorded in a cabin close to an army base in the middle of nowhere. Deep in the wilderness in the deepest winter, falling asleep every night to the sound of wolves howling in the wind outside.”
