Kotek – Codex

Jul 3 2019

Known for his massive collab “Teleportal” with electronic powerhouse Rezz, rising talent KOTEK has unveiled the second single off of his forthcoming EP, Sonoglyph Pt. 1. Entitled “Codex,” the Canadian producer has crafted a hard-hitting single that effortlessly blends genres. “Codex” is out now via Westwood Recordings.

Budding musical mainstay C.H.A.Y. finds a home at mau5trap for his newest four-track EP. A flawless EP from start to finish, the Florida native proves just why his sound belongs on a label as prominent as mau5trap. From the onset of the EP, C.H.A.Y. displays his production versatility, drawing his listeners in with slow and pulsating grooves, before layering on a signature blend of electro and tech house styles.

Rising super producer 32Stitches recently released a massive remix of the intro of the hit series Game of Thrones. I imagine any character could turn this up to 11 and go into battle ready to shed blood. Hailing from India, 32Stitches may be the next Wolfgang Gartner with his skill in sound design and electro influence.

Vienna based outfit At Pavillon just announced a remix package for their latest single entitled “Lions”, the track is taken from the upcoming EP, “Lions Remixes” that contains interpretations by artists/producers such as IS TROPICAL, MYNTH, CIO and EHYT which is set for release on September 7th via Austrian label LasVegas Records.

Discobelle are excited to premiere the remix from London based electronic/rock quartet Is Tropical, after their hit single “The Greeks” back in 2011 they were quickly signed to French music/fashion label Kitsuné, with whom they have released most of their music.

Their remix is filled to the brink with buzzing and intoxicating synth work, a crunchy sounding bass and a steady beat which is guaranteed to make you move.

German producers/dj’s Jens Moelle and Ismail Tufekci are better known as indie dance/electro duo Digitalism. Today they release brand new and huge sounding single “Glow” which is filled to the brink with crunchy synths and pleading vocals. The single serves as the prelude to the September 13th release of their new EP “PR15M”.

“Glow” is aimed at the dance floor and the duo describes the track best:

“It’s been a while since we’ve been dancing together — so put on your shoes, we’re going out! “Glow” turned out to be so loud after mastering that we had to dial it back down a bit. Best enjoyed on a big PA”.
