Los Angeles based producer/dj and Discobelle friendly Eric Sharp returns with a new EP, he teams up with some of his buddies for the “Eric Sharp and Friends EP” (out now via Little Assembly, features Zhao and French Horn Rebellion). The four-track offering is teeming with warm, hypnotic and dreamy house music, our favorite track is the soothing opener “Call In The Night”.
“For the ‘Eric Sharp & Friends EP’ I left that creative constraint behind and just focused on making music as an ends in and of itself. Those who follow my original work will know that collaboration is a big part of my process. I find that there is a nearly magical energy exchange in co-creating music with other artists whom I share a wavelength with”
It’s a weird sensation to be able to hear the quality in music while simultaneously being bored by what you’re hearing. I’ve found that to be the case with lots of submissions as of late. But with his new release “Cold Feet,” Moha is successfully challenging the status quo. We’re lucky to have the premiere for the aforementioned release, a composition described as “…a cryptic story that carries on throughout. The listener could play the record from beginning to end, and put together all the pieces. If a song is skipped, then the story is not complete. It’s like a book.” “Cold Feet” is the second single off the upcoming ‘FIT’ album and the 3rd episode (sequentially) of the 10 part story. Moha hones in on the precious emotions felt during his first love, from acknowledgement to execution. Watch the video below:
