Lyon producer Alex Autajon has been featured here on Discobelle in the past so when he dropped new single “Baeblade/easyGym”, we knew that it was gonna be good. The single was released via Moveltraxx last week and the two juke/footwork influenced tracks are excellent examples of the kind of left-field club music that we’d come to expect from the young producer.
London selector Sherelle brings mayhem with her new mix for UK based publication Crack Magazine, she has been at the forefront of a new generation of young British DJs who operate in the realms of footwork, juke, jungle etc. She’s honed her skills over at Reprezent Radio along with of course numerous gigs and mix appearances and made an absolutely smashing Boiler Room session back in February that propelled her to a wider audience.
After a brief correspondence on Twitter the latest exclusive Discobelle mix was all set, Oakland rapper, dj and radio host Kreayshawn gives us a fantastic and frantic mix of all juke tracks that for certain will make your office be more like a sweat drenched cavern.
Tracklist after the jump.
Slick Shoota is the moniker of Oslo based Marius Mevold who is an offical member of Teklife and prominent member of the nightlife scene in Oslo with his hyped club night Ball Em Up, he’s been putting out energetic and fast paced club hybrid music for alot of big labels most notably his releases on Mad Decent drawing inspiration from the juke/footwork scene, jungle etc.
This 37 minute long exclusive mixtape for us here at Discobelle packs a perfect punch to wake you up from this mid-January boredom starting out in chopped up baile funk territory before chopping up something alot more recognizable then quickly gathering speed and turning into one helluva ride.
