Born in the Dominican Republic and more recently cut from the bubbling Los Angeles circuit, Jarina De Marco is more than ready to step up as leading lady. Produced by genre defying duo GTA, who the rising artist donned her vocal chops for on “True Romance,” latest solo moment “STFU” oozes the attitude and eccentric electronic energy we have come to expect from De Marco and newfound label mates Mad Decent. As an outspoken newcomer providing seriously powerful solo material, we can’t help but feel Jarina De Marco is an essential addition to the Mad Decent family.

That time of the week again and another fine edition of the Discobelle mix series.

This week sees two dope producers/dj’s from Sweden team up to form new super tag team – MRTN x DINERO (AKA Robert Dinero of Mash Up International fame and MRTN). On their debut mix they give us a fresh selection of all things dancehall, future house, moombahton, afrobeat and UK bass.

Watch out for dj dates/clubnights and more mixtapes coming from MRTN x DINERO later this fall!

Mattie Safer first captured the public’s attention with his era-defining work as the bassist and co-lead vocalist in seminal NYC outfit The Rapture. He’s gearing up to release his new EP “All We Are (Remixes)” on June 30th. The single features remixes of songs from his debut solo EP “All We Are”.

We here at Discobelle can premiere the remix from moombahton pioneer Dave Nada which is basically a sultry lovers jam for those that feel like slow dancing their summer away.

Vilnius based producer Boyfriend remixed the track “Spirits Rising” which is the new single from legendary US producer Todd Terry’s collaboration with Screamin’ Rachael and the track is the lead single off of Screamin’ Rachael’s upcoming EP “U-DO” which will be released later this summer via Chicago label Trax Records. The track originally began as an unofficial remix where Rachael sang on top of Todd Terry’s “Sume Sigh Sae” off the “Gypsyland” album but what had originally begun as a session between Jorge and Rachael in Saint Louis’ Central West End eventually led to an official reworking, and signed off by Todd Terry himself.

Boyfriend steps up with a subdued, moombahtonesque sounding beat that eases us into super humid summer mode.

Vilnius based producer Boyfriend is quick on the draw and just in time for your weekend fun, here’s his moombahton edit of the new Rihanna and Drake single “Work”.

As if Major Lazer wasn’t entirely taking over the planet with their track “Lean On” with MØ, they’ve released another huge release, this time with Jamaican producer KickRaux. “Nobody Has to Know” was a massive 2013 hit, and it’s about to be a 2015 hit again. The boys bring island to the mainstream and underground forefront yet again. Check it out below.

Mash Up International is one of the hardest working dj/production crews in Europe, consisting of Robert Dinero, Uffie Ice and Money Mats, the trio have been bringing their super infectious and party driven global bass sound with influences from dancehall, kuduro, soca, cumbia etc. to the masses since 2010. They’ve racked up remixes for some top names both in Sweden and abroad so we’re of course very happy that they wanted to release an exclusive mix that includes an unreleased jam that they’ve done with Danish vocalist and a slew of brand new remixes for us here at Discobelle just in time for the start of what’s hopefully gonna be a hot summer.

Press play, stand back and get ready!
