Iconic west coast band The Story So Far just released their music video to “Take Me As You Please” off the recent ‘Proper Dose’ album. The journey brought to life by director Eric Soucy meshes a visual dream world where a woman descends into a gender fluid and faceless world.

The band is currently on a massive tour, selling out dates across the country. Find out the latest news on their journey and grab any remaining tickets to a show on their website.

Italian-born but now London-based producer/musician/songwriter Soul Island released his first album single “Ocean” on October 5th, the single track is taken from his upcoming debut LP “Shards” (due to be released on December 7th via Loyal To Your Dreams).

“Ocean” is a shimmering synth pop track that handles intricate melodies, a vast atmosphere of ambient sounds and lush vocals. We’re glad to premiere the David Chambriard directed video for the single.

“It’s a track about true and false hope, spiritual and together very concrete. It’s a call to caring about the earth. I now realize I programmed the synth ARP as water movement with filter sweeps mimicking the tide, or that’s how I like to see it.”

Fresh new video from Sammy Adams as he returns from a brief hiatus to release his new single “Action.” The Boston native is back with a new flow and it’s sounding like he’s on his A-game.

“Action is an adventure. It brings me back to the early stages of my life, being a troublemaker, chasing crushes, and finding my own way in the world. It’s about chasing what you want (not just the girl you want), and being fearless regardless of the outcome. Take risks, fall in love, take L’s, learn from your mistakes. If you ain’t living, you’re dying.” – Sammy Adams

The latest single “Faceless” from Los Angeles based producer/vocalist Ex Mykah is a response to society’s unraveling moral fabric and spotlights the West’s increasingly naked fear of “the other”. He blends haunting hip-hop structures with leftfield and lush sounding pop.

“Faceless” is another taste from his forthcoming debut album which will be released via Kowloon Records.

London based artist Parker could be described as a darker and moodier version of Lana Del Rey but that would be too simple. She makes dark but dancey electronic pop music for those nights when you want to belt out lyrics and dance around in your living room while drunk on emotion and alcohol. Check out the premiere of the video for her single track “Doubles” (released via Killing Moon Records) right here on Discobelle.

Smooth, sensual, and intrinsically emotional, Provocado‘s “Only You” has the makings of late night lovers jam. The visual for “Only You,” out today and premiered here via Discobelle, portrays the underlined communiqué of the song’s title via homing in on a day-in-the-life of one beautiful metropolitan woman walking the streets of Manhattan. New York-based musicians Derek Chilvers and Eric Essebag have done a magical job of capturing the essence of the city that never sleeps, injecting heaps of New York soul and flair into their newest single.
