Apart from all the blogging, we DJ quite a lot. We play the same sort of music that we post, so if you like the blog – you’re going to have a good time on our dancefloor as well. Xmas 2007, 23: Armand Van Helden – I Want Your Soul (Crookers remix)

This has been our jam this year. Armand Van Helden makes what could be the club hit of the year with the track “I Want Your Soul”. Perfect pounding blend of electro and pop, and to top it all off the Crookers boys roughs it up with a nasty bassline and some added thump making this our dancefloor favorite.

Xmas 2007, 22: Hatchmatik – Clubabria remix

Hatchmatik is another crazy canadian and he burst onto our radar with a string of banging remixes (including a much played M.I.A remix). This track has been our fall anthem and it’s been a success wherever we dj’ed. This is a perfect track for the club where Hatch upped the tempo with some nasty b-more flavour, touched up the horns and added some handclaps, not to mention the fact that the girls all love it…

Xmas 2007, 21: Lil Mama – Lip Gloss (Krazy Fiesta Remix)

Ian from a Different Kitchen got us in to Lil Mama ages ago but then Krazy Fiesta came along and made it a real dance floor banger. Krazy Fiesta has been sending us remixes since the beginning of Discobelle so it was a sad day when we heard the news about Jesper’s tragic death in August. Even though we didn’t know him very well personally, we do miss him a lot. We know he would have wanted his work to live on and to be played out on the dancefloor. So it is always great to hear that a lot of you guys are playing the track when you DJ. Jesper, we salute you!

Xmas 2007, 19: Chromeo – Fancy Footwork (Strip Steve remix)

We had to have a Chromeo track on the list, and there was a ton of stuff to choose from. So, we decided to give you some more of that french flavour that you all long for. Strip Steve from Bordeaux made our jaws drop when he handed us this. He remixes the track “Fancy Footwork” from the canadian discofunksters into some excellent 90´s era french house banger. Trust us, you’ll definetely hear alot more from this youngster in 2008.

We posted the original Flo-Rida track in January and have been loving it since then and The Baws on the remix? You know we had to go with that. “I Don’t Want No Cake On My Birthday, I Want My Cake Err Day Errday!” How can you not love this song?

This could have been just the original track but we are not sure if that came out late last year and not this year.
