I’m cheating on this one, but hey it’s my site so I deserve to be lazy sometimes. Here are three things that we received in the mail this week that I liked, some copy and paste later and we got ourself an around the world post!

First out is Teat Cru from Puerto Rico:

The Machines Don’t Care project has been the talk of Grindin’ for some time, centered around Discobelle faves Hervé and Sinden but other collaborators currently includes Fake Blood, Drop The Lime, Trevor Loveys, Detboi, Toddla T and Affie Usuf. You can expect top class electro/fidget/jacking house and here’s a mini mix to get you excited about the 12″ sample releases in June and the CD release in July.

We were hoping on doing one t-shirt/month but logistic problems are going to make that impossible, so instead we’re going to try to make new t-shirts as often as we can. That being said, here is the new design!

It was designed by Hugo Sundkvist from Hitsville Graphics and it’s limited to 100 t-shirts. We will put around half of them up for sale.

The price is 250 sek (€30 or $45) including shipping.

They are white and we got t-shirts in S, M, L, XL and XXL.

Our old friend, Parisian producer Don Rimini returns after a few well-received EPs with a remix of the classic Young MC track “Bust A Move” that was released back in 1989 but has now been revitalized thanks to Delicious Vinyl and their Rmxxology project. The Don shreds this track into pieces with a remix that features a synth driven beat and ravey key stabs that are bound to leave you gasping for breath.

What up Discobelle people!?!? My name is Kyle Marxen aka VonMarxen aka I’ve got too many aliases to share. I was lucky enough to guest write We Got Mail this week. I’m supposed to write a little about myself…I’ll keep it short and sweet. I started off with dance music back in 2000 when I did some street teaming/learning the ropes with my DJ Pal/ Chicago house master (and best bro) Richie Heller, I got into concert promoting/ production in college, ended up as a touring bassist, and a tour manager all while dj’ing local college bars and parties. I now hold it down in Iowa doing two parties a week. I also drive a PIMP 1987 Ford Thunderbird.

So I had to pick some tracks and mixes from the Discobelle inbox.

To start we have a pretty dope remix from some dudes who call themselves Project Cyborg. I checked out their bio on their website and at their MySpace and all I can gather is that they like Batman and throwing parties (we have some stuff in common). They remixed the already killer track “Super Disco Breakin” by the Beastie Boys. Check it!

Next up we have a b-more track from EMYND. Heres what he has to say about it: “I’ve recently posted a new Bmore Club/Philly Party Music track that will be coming out on Emynd & Bo Bliz’s next EP on Flamin Hotz records this summer. It’s a club remix of the Blackbyrds “Rock Creek Park” and Diplo has been playing it a lot over the last 6 months. This version is mixed and mastered by DJA.”

Switching Gears away from Weezy to probably my favorite track that came through. Immuzikation from Atlanta, GA put together Santogolds “L.E.S. Artistes” with D.A.N.C.E. He says “it’s taken me forever to figure out the right song for d.a.n.c.e. it’s never too late… ”
