Adam Port – Someone To Love

Berlin master of techhouse – Adam Port – is just about to unleash new single “Someone To Love” on the Keinemusik label, it will drop January 27th and you will be hearing this aplenty if you’re out clubbing this spring/summer. Those of you that are familiar with Adam’s previous work won’t be disappointed and those of you hearing him for the first time will be floored by this 2 1/2 minute preview of the track, a funky rhytm that charges along with a percussion and a soul sample that makes the whole track feel hypnotical. You won’t be able to stay still while listening to this.

What You Need

Berlin producer/dj Adam Port schools us on how it’s done down in Berlin Techno City, 4 to the floor is the lead word in this smooth and incredibly well done 8+ minute edit of the track “What You Need” from Toronto R&B outfit The Weeknd.

PS. Adam is playing right here in Malmö next week, if you’re here you should go dancing…

Adam Port (ft. Ruede Hagelstein) – Corrosive Love (video)

Berlin producer Adam Port has grown to be one of our favorites here at Discobelle, “Corrosive Love” is his most recent release on the Keinemusik label and it’s bittersweet techno track with vocals from fellow producer Ruede Hagelstein that rides the acid line for almost 9 minutes of pure joy.

Adam Port – Stalker

Our favorite Berlin dj, Adam Port, is back with a split release with KiNK on the Liebe Detail label which will be out on January 31st, the groovy and jazzhousey track “Stalker” will transport you to a speakeasy and then bring you back just in time for the party.

Buckup

November 22nd sees the release of Swiss producer Wildlife!’s new EP “Buckup” which is an amazing EP filled with his bassfilled take on Jamaican dance music. Don’t sleep on it, amazing tracks on here that should work their ways into plenty of dj sets. It comes with vocal contributions from legends such as: Sammy Dread, Major Mackerel and Terry Lynn. Remixes on the EP come courtesy of Night Slugs wildman L-Vis 1990, whiz Parisian producer French Fries, Berlin techno fiend Adam Port and French/Argentinian tropical cumbia hero Douster. We here at Discobelle got the Douster remix for you, which sounds like Jamaican dancehall meeting up with a cumbia shuffle on speed at a carnival.

BONUS: The track “Nocturnal World” with Terry Lynn.

Adam Port – A Sound Mind, DJ mix for Nike Sportswear x Zoo Magazine

One of our favorite producers/dj’s out of Berlin is Adam Port who not only makes amazing music but is also a true gentleman and a scholar when it comes to fashion seeing as he writes for Hypebeast. Adam just finished up this special mix for Nike Sportswear and Zoo Magazine, filled with gems that’ll make you swoon.

“Adam Port is a DJ who wears a Rolex and plays minimal techno music. This Berliner breaks all the rules of the genre: he unites opposites and brings back to techno an element that was lost long ago – glamour. Port is not a typical minimal-nerd, but just addicted to their music, and because he’s not a spaced-out, after-hours hippy even if he plays in their clubs, he straddles two worlds. He can party but still rise early and his modesty is tempered by grand gestures.

“Sometimes I come home from a party in the morning, so euphoric and inspired that I must immediately capture the mood in music.”
