Kantillo

Stockholm techhouse outfit Boeoes Kaelstigen just released their third and final single track from their debut album “Tanum Teleport”, “Kantillo” is described as:

“…The most energetic and sunrise compatible track of them all. Kantillo’s main ingredients are cold drips of water pouring down an abandoned communications facility somewhere on the countryside.”

Remixes comes from a handful of talented friends such as: Andycap, Anosou, Blunt Force, Åbäke and Rutger Hofbahn.

Adrian Recordings – Advent Sunday Mixtape #3: Pocketknife

The third mixtape of the Adrian Recordings Advent Sunday Mixtape Series 2010 comes from Brooklyn based producer Pocketknife. Perfect sunday listening while you’re sipping mulled wine and eating gingerbread cookies. Check out what our friends at Adrian Recordings had to say about the mix:

“We are proud to present Pocketknife. Earlier this year this disco star did a brilliant remix of the This Is Head track “0007” and now he has picked and mixed together his blend of favorites from the Adrian Recordings catalogue 2010.

Pocketknife was previously partner with Theo Parrish and now he throws down his own disco jams as well as own unique remixes. Exploding in blogs with remixes from such different stars as Arthur Russell, Liars, Lykke Li, Sufjan Stevens, Joanna Newsom, Nico, Yeasayer and Alicia Keys. And our own favorite recreation of Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m on Fire”. In 2011 we’re looking forward to his upcoming release on label !K7.”

Nautiluss – November Mix

Nautiluss AKA Grahmzilla AKA ½ of Bassanovva (formerly in Thunderheist) recently did an amazing remix for us in Discobelle Records/Adrian Recordings for the Boeoes Kaelstigen single track “Lou”, now he unleashes his bodyrocking November mixtape on which you’ll find a track from the upcoming Brenmar “At It Again” EP (drops December 7th).

“Here’s a new mix featuring dancefloor driven music which emphasizes musicality over hype. You’ll notice one of my new originals in there. More on that soon….”

Lou

Tor and Leo first met on a class in rhetoric and quickly discovered their similar taste in music, their love for Giorgio Moroder, futuristic trains and machines that goes beep.

When the two, by coincidence, moved in to the same apartment complex, sweet noises emerged, echoing over the hills of Ersta. The project soon came to be known as Boeoes Kaelstigen.

Now they have a new exciting new EP being released as a joint venture on Discobelle Records and Adrian Recordings. With their highly technical house that we all learned to love, they come with this new track that will get you started on the journey we call Boeoes Kaelstigen.

The release also comes packed with some killer remixes. Panton (ED from NROTB) loved the track so much he just had to do two, the Italian midget house pioneer Mowgli comes strong and twist it up Mowgli style and last but not least we have Nautiluss from the now buried Thunderheist adding another dimension to the Boeoes Kaelstigen universe.

Go get the EP on Juno or Boomkat

Familjen – Det Var Jag (Krazy Fiesta remix)

The biggest Swedish track for me this summer and fall has been “Det Var Jag” with Skåne electro hero Familjen and the remixes has been equally amazing, really showing the diversity of the Swedish club scene. We have already featured two versions here on Discobelle, Albin Myers and Gidge. On the vinyl release and on Spotify you also get a Savage Skulls and Marcus Price version (check it out, it’s a dancefloor killer) and this one from Krazy Fiesta. Johan tells us that its his favourite remix up to date. It’s beautiful, perfect for the day after. We are very happy to have the go ahead to share it with the world!

Don’t sleep!

Desolate View

Leo Nathorst-Böös and Tor Rauden Källstigen are perhaps better known as magnificent Swedish techhouse duo Boeoes Kaelstigen, they’re about to release their debut album “Tanum Teleport” (will be out November 24th on Adrian Recordings) which is a concept album about life in the year 2038 in the small Swedish town of Tanumshede. The first single to drop from the album is the elegant and haunting “Desolate View” which features vocalist Stefan Storm (of The Sound Of Arrows fame).

PS: The second single off the album – “Lou” – is a joint release with us here at Discobelle Records and will feature some smashing remixes. Look for it in October.

This Is Head – 0011

Malmö group This Is Head goes from strength to strength, here’s their latest video for the new single “0011″ (just released by Adrian Recordings) which is a pretty looking live video affair directed by Nicholas Wakeham.

They are also kind enough to give us the whole “0011″ single which includes remixes from the likes of Danish producer Kasper Björke, Pao Pao, Swedish psych outfit Ved and Swedish techno producer Adam Lundberg et al.
