The latest single from Swedish artist Olsson is entitled “U”, it received a fantastic and Swedish Grammy-nominated visual treatment last month.

Now, we’re happy to hear the official remixes pouring in. The first one came courtesy of Albin Myers and now we get an early Christmas present from one of our favourite (and from what we gather Olsson is also a big fan) dj’s/producers namely Anton Klint (also known for his work with Tiedye).

He churns out a spectacular and hypnotic cosmic/psych-disco sounding remix that sets the perfect tone for any 3 AM laid-back rave mode.

Young gun Joey Massa is one of the more prolific producers/dj’s to emerge from the Swedish dance music scene, having accumulated remixes for among others Major Lazer and Style Of Eye plus several well received original productions that have seen support from the likes of Diplo, Crookers, Zedd, Sebastian Ingrosso, Felix Cartal, John Dahlback, Albin Myers, Adrian Lux, Astronomar, Swick, Savage Skulls etc.

On his exclusive mix for us here at Discobelle we get a rundown of some of the biggest and best of that big room electrohouse sound and this is destined to start up your next party in a major way.

We in Discobelle went down to Goa, India courtesy of Tuborg to cover the huge 6th edition of Sunburn Goa, the biggest dance music festival in Asia which surprisingly we hadn’t heard of before.

After a pretty long flight we arrived in Goa on the morning of December 27th, just in time to head to the festival that was held non-stop between December 27th-29th at two separate stage areas right by beautiful Candolim Beach. This year the lineup was packed with of some of the world’s top house/electro dj’s including names such as Paul Van Dyk, Roger Sanchez, AN21, Sander van Doorn, Fedde Le Grand and Dirty Vegas. Also performing at the festival were well known (we understood why after hearing their blazing sets) Indian dj’s such as Nawed Khan and DJ Pearl, smaller but still rather well known acts such as Albin Myers and Djuma Soundsystem, alongside new acquiantances such as Reggae Rajahs and Vinayak A.

The festival saw an attendance of over 150 000 and all three days were packed with an audience ready to dance the night away, during our visit we saw thousands of smiling faces and it seemed like everybody was there to enjoy themselves and to just have fun. All in all, the festival made quite an impression with its spectacular stage areas with amazing light shows, friendly and partygoing crowd and last but not least, smashing performances by artists that really seemed to enjoy playing at the festival and were all greeted by an intense feedback.

Albeit a bit tired from the first day of Sunburn Festival, the second day promised much more and our expectations were met with a bigger crowd attendance along with a spectacular party atmosphere. It seemed like the 60 000 in attendance were not content with less than one huge party night and boy did they had something coming their way. Scandinavia was represented today with Danish dj Djuma Soundsystem showcasing his brand of dark house and disco to bring the late afternoon attendees out of their hangovers and Sweden’s very own Albin Myers delivered a hard hitting set to transform the festival to one huge dance fest. Later on, Birmingham dj/producer Paul Thomas warmed things up on Cubezoid (one of the main stages) in a big way in order for Dutch super star dj Fedde Le Grand to put out an immense set. On the other side of the festival, Dutch duo Showtek had everyone from the bar in the back to the front going crazy with an arena sized set and they ended the night with the epic Dada Life track “Kick Out The Epic Motherf**cker” that had the crowd going – yeah, you guessed it – bananas…

The biggest Swedish track for me this summer and fall has been “Det Var Jag” with Skåne electro hero Familjen and the remixes has been equally amazing, really showing the diversity of the Swedish club scene. We have already featured two versions here on Discobelle, Albin Myers and Gidge. On the vinyl release and on Spotify you also get a Savage Skulls and Marcus Price version (check it out, it’s a dancefloor killer) and this one from Krazy Fiesta. Johan tells us that its his favourite remix up to date. It’s beautiful, perfect for the day after. We are very happy to have the go ahead to share it with the world!

Don’t sleep!
