When Chicago born rapper Shivani Ahlowalia discovered the bassfilled sound of Danish production duo Copia Doble Systema (Copyflex and Julius Sylvest) the smashing new outfit Alo Wala was born. Their sound is a melting pot of South American rhythms and Indian sounds that blends perfectly with elements of hip-hop, dancehall and global bass.

Their debut EP “City Boy” will be released November 10th via Portuguese label Enchufada and we here at Discobelle can premiere the track “Ace Of Space” that’s goes off like a bomb with a pulsating rhythm, Indian melody heaving with a piercing synth line and fierce vocals.

The debut track from Alo Wala just dropped on Enchufada, “Little Lotto” is a tropical bass tune laced with an accordion and bursting with and infectious beat and buzzing synths.

“Our first song finally out! “Little Lotto” is all in the family featuring Indian bass guru Nucleya and the mighty MC Zulu, not to mention a swinging guitar lick by the legendary team Sly&Robbie. (#BamBamRiddim)”
