The third t-shirt give away from Downtown Music is here! This time around it’s Lissy Trullie that have some goods up for grabs. Two lucky winners will each get an EP cover t-shirts (we got 1 M – red and 1 L – white so tell us what size you want).

DJ Hoff over in L.A sent over these two tracks that he recently finished, it’s two blends that work really well. The first one is Amanda Blank over a Jean Carn disco beat that he twists and tweaks, the second one is rappers Common/Pharrell over Miami Horror.

Downtown Records are running a remix competition with Amanda Blank. Since we know we got a lot of upcoming producers around here we thought we might give it a push.

“Producers, DJs, and Remixers: Downtown Records wants to hear your remix of Amanda Blank’s “Might Like You Better“. Join the ranks of fellow Amanda Blank producers Diplo, Armani XXXChange, and Dave Sitek. The 5 best submissions will appear on a RCRD LBL feature, the Downtown Records website, the Amanda Blank Official Website, the Amanda Blank Myspace, Facebook, and Imeem Profiles. The selected tracks will receive the benefit of the full weight of Downtown Records promotion. This is not only a great opportunity to remix a great performance off of Amanda Blank’s upcoming Record, “I Love You”, it’s also an opportunity for aspiring producers, remixers, and DJs to get exposure for their underappreciated work.”

We got another remix contest for you. This time it’s a track from Yuksek’s excellent new album that we want you to show your skills with. It’s the track “Extraball” with Amanda Blank that we want you to remix and the best remix will get a signed limited edition of the album and more importantly will receive club promo through Fiction Records!

So, download the vocals from the track, do your remix, send it over to us (please use some kind of upload server) and we will pick our favorite track to get the prize. You got until April 10th to work your magic!
