“This October, in the aftermath of Angel Haze’s first ever London performance, she and LuckyMe producer Lunice – fresh from a gig at the Warehouse Project with Hudson Mohawke as TNGHT – met for the first time at Metropolis Studios, where they worked into the night creating a new song, from scratch. “Gimme That,” is an all-out assault as Angel Haze lays a relentless tongue-lashing to Lunice’s synth, kick, and snap stew. The single, available for free download November 14 at Yours Tru.ly is the latest in Adidas Originals and Yours Truly’s “Songs from Scratch” series that also includes Danny Brown & Araabmuzik’s “Molly Ringwlad” and Joey Bada$$’ “Daily Routine”.
A$AP Rocky’s crew A$AP Mob just shared their much anticipated new mixtape “Lords Never Worry” which features the previously released tracks “Purple Kisses” and “Bath Salt” with Flatbush Zombies but also features new tracks with Raekwon, Danny Brown, Gunplay, Jim Jones and more. Production on the mixtape comes from AraabMuzik, Clams Casino, A$AP Ty Beats and others. This mixtape is unleashed in anticipation of A$AP Rocky’s full-length album, “LongLiveA$AP” which was just pushed to a Halloween release.

It’s been two weeks since I made my way to Austin, Texas for SXSW but I’m still having dreams about it. The festival this year raised the bar with bigger parties and bigger artists making their way through the great music town down south. Just imagine all of your favorite bands and DJs all in one place AND free tacos. If heaven is a place on earth then it is SXSW. One of the standout parties I had the opportunity of attending was Turntable.fm’s music event featuring Diplo, Araabmuzik, and A-trak. Housed in a raw warehouse space deep in the east side of town, the place was bumping all night with the sound of booming bass ricocheting off the walls. Take a look at some of the video of Araabmuzik and A-trak taken at the event below.
Til next time..
