Our friend and very talented photographer Jesper Berg shot this video when post dubstep crooner Jamie Woon played a sold out show at Babel in Malmö this friday. It’s a low-key and stripped down version of “Lady Luck”, seeing as most of his equipment got stuck on an airplane between Oslo and Malmö.

Big night coming up here in Malmö this saturday (August 6th) when Babel presents their annual summer bash (Sommarfesten), this year we get a varied line-up with some huge names, up and coming acts + local talents. The full line-up reads as follows: Rebecca & Fiona, 2000 and ONE, Per Hammar, Sandra Mosh, John Talabot and Disco Devils.

In cooperation with Babel, we here at Discobelle are giving away two tickets for the party. Just send us an e-mail to be entered into the draw (winners will be chosen on wednesday and are eligible to pick up their tickets in person at Babel in Malmö)

Tomorrow our friends in Stockholm’s finest techhouse duo Boeoes Kaelstigen will head down to Babel here in Malmö for the releaseparty for their debut album “Tanum Teleport” (if you buy it, you’ll get some fresh socks aswell!).

We’ll of course be there dancing and you can all preparty to the original version of dancefloor scorcher “Lou” which was recently released by Adrian Recordings in collaboration with us in Discobelle Records.

Young Parisian producer French Fries is quickly rising to the top of the game with super strong remixes and original tracks coming out at an impressive pace (including a remix for us in Discobelle Records with his remix on part two of the Femme En Fourrure single “Dirty Blonde” which will drop July 15th).

Here’s his latest mix which should suit your weekend plans perfectly and also serve as an appetizer of what to expect when French Fries hits the club night Praise The Lord at Babel here in Malmö on wednesday July 7th (together with our friends in the Smuts/Woobanger crew) where he will most likely tear the roof of the old church.
