PACKSHOT

Devil’s Eyes

Bacardi B-Live were kind enough to drop the original version of this demonic pop track upon the internet (you can find it over here). “Devil’s Eyes” features the vocal offerings of Drop The Lime himself and now the epic 11 track remix EP has just been released (courtesy of NYC’s finest, Trouble & Bass). We have the choppy, wobble bass infused Tomb Crew remix for your pleasure.

(Don’t Fear) The Reaper

Australian outfit Van She have worked with the Bacardi B-Live project in the past and now they just did a cover of the classic Blue Oyster Cult track “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” and it’s nothing short of banging.

Drop The Lime – Devil’s Eyes [A B-LIVE ORIGINAL]

A new week and we got something special for you guys. We’ve got 100 copies of the 12″ of “Devil’s Eyes”, the tune that Drop The Lime has recorded exclusively for Bacardi B-Live, to give away.

The 12″ has the original track and a remix of the track by Classixx on the B-side.

What we want you to do to have a chance to get a copy of the 12″ is to suggest who else should do a remix of the track and send that and your address here. Then 100 of you will get a copy of the 12″.

Devil’s Eyes

Luca Venezia AKA NYC heavy bass hero Drop The Lime tweeted about his new track “Devil’s Eyes” yesterday (and yeah, that’s him singing on the track). Made in conjunction with Bacardi B-Live, here it is just in time for the weekend.

Bacardi B-Live in Rio featuring The Twelves

We went to Rio a couple of weeks ago to attend the B-Live party Bacardi was throwing. While we were there we got to hang out with the boys from The Twelves. Bacardi also tagged along, but since they are not slackers like us they brought a camera team with them. So here a the videos that was produced with The Twelves that week.

Bacardi also got The Twelves to do an interesting remix project with another group that was playing that party, Cicada. They remixed one of the others track and we got the results to premier to you. Enjoy the remixes and be sure to check out all the videos.

Chromeo – 100% (Treasure Fingers B-Live Pemberton mix)

This is the second remix from the Chromeo “100%” remix package (we posted the Nacho Lovers remix only yesterday) that was done in a collabo between Bacardi B-Live, Vice Records & Fools Gold Records.

Brooklyn producer Treasure Fingers dips his hands in the funky disco bucket and comes up with starry eyed remix where we get a track filled to the brink with sweeping synths, handclaps, a steady drum machine beat and earnest vocals.

Chromeo – 100% (Nacho Lovers B-Live Pemberton mix)

I’m in Milan, enjoying the Italian hospitality that yesterday included wine and delicious food then seeing Digitalism and Crookers destroy the dancefloor at Wonka. Well enough jabbering, let’s get on with the actual post.

Bacardi and their B-Live project once agains joins forces with some amazing people. This time with Vice Records and the thrifty Fools Gold Records crew that together bring us a sweet looking remix package of the Chromeo track “100%” (the closing track on their latest album).

This remix by the always excellent Toronto duo Nacho Lovers gives us a 7+ minute version of blissed out italodisco goodness that meets the Chromeo funk and it’s a match made in heaven.

“I’m surprised we didn’t do this earlier! Chromeo is my brother with our childhood friend, Fool’s Gold is my label…It’s only natural to get Fool’s Gold producers to remix Chromeo. Yet it took Bacardi to make it happen. Bacardi’s B-Live program brings you these funkier-than-thou remixes of the slick album closer ‘100%’. You all know Treasure Fingers from his infectious two-stepper ‘Cross The Dancefloor’ and multiple remixes as of late. If you’re up on your new releases you probably heard Nacho Lovers’ inaugural and timeless single ‘Acid Life’. And to flip things a little we recruited Bay Area rapper-slash-producer Trackademicks, whose single ‘Enjoy What You Do’ is just about to drop! Start downloading….NOW.” A-TRAK
