Polargeist

Bang Gang 12 Inches continues with their putput of quality releases. Polargeist happens to be 2 guys from Germany which is pretty much all we know about them. This is their first release. Fellow German producer Tensnake reworks the track “Home From The Can” into more of a moody summer house number.

Something Hot

It’s getting a bit too chilly for our comfort here in Sweden so it’s a good thing that Exploited Records give us a hot new track to lift our spirits. Funky German pop/electrohouse producer Lorenz Rhode is teaming up with Exploited for the release of his second EP on the label; “Something Hot”. The synth-saturated title track features the vocal offerings of infamous Berlin based singer Snax (Ex-Captain Comatose & support act for Jamie Lidell, Peaches and Scissor Sisters), who turns “Something Hot” into something even hotter. The releasedate for the EP is January 15th and a remix EP will follow with Swedish duo Savage Skulls (Dubsided/Mad Decent), Seiji (Bugz in the Attic/Computer Juice), Mattie Safer (ex-The Rapture), Shazam (Bang Gang) going all in on the track.

As a little teaser for the release here’s a new and exclusive remix that Lorenz did for Bavarian Ghetto-pimps Schlachthofbronx.

Assassin

Just in time for the Australian summer, French robot loving producer Golden Bug gives us his long awaited “Assassin” EP (released on Bang Gang 12 Inches). After his debut album “Hot Robot” on Gomma last year and remixes for the likes of Delphic, GLOVES, Adam Freeland, Rodion and Lost Valentinos, Golden Bug now gives us an EP filled to the brink with slices of feel good disco house. Our pick of the bunch is the tribaldiscoish track “Last Dance In Tokyo”.

GLOVES – P.Y.X (Strip Steve Paradise Dub)

Melbourne producer GLOVES used to be part of now defunct duo Damn Arms and he has been much talked about on the behalf of his remix workings for quite some time now, now we find his efforts on the newly released “P.Y.X” EP which just happened to be have been put out by the best label from down under, Bang Gang 12 Inches. On the EP, french wunderkind and Boys Noize Records signing Strip Steve gives us a 90′s house flavoured/discoish dub version that puts a smile on your face all while it makes you dance into the wee hours of the morning.
