Melbourne producer GLOVES used to be part of now defunct duo Damn Arms and he has been much talked about on the behalf of his remix workings for quite some time now, now we find his efforts on the newly released “P.Y.X” EP which just happened to be have been put out by the best label from down under, Bang Gang 12 Inches. On the EP, french wunderkind and Boys Noize Records signing Strip Steve gives us a 90’s house flavoured/discoish dub version that puts a smile on your face all while it makes you dance into the wee hours of the morning.
The German duo Hey Today! emerges from their techno bunker to give us this reworking of Armand Van Helden’s classic track “Necessary Evil” and it’s “noisy noisy super noisy fun”. A new single will be coming real soon from the Hey Today! guys.
Australian “yacht house” duo Damn Arms are now sadly defunct but they leave us with a swan song. The “Destination remix EP” was released about a month ago by the fellas from Bang Gang 12 Inches and on it we find this discofied pearl of a remix from German producer Munk.

The Germans in Hey Today! have been hyped up here at Discobelle in the past (that Bobmo remix of their “Wonderman” track is quite something). Here’s their latest mix which drops lots of new joints from them, all neatly packaged together with lots of other great tracks.

Summer days are here and we’re glad we got this pumping new track from Australian 5 piece Lost Valentinos (we remember them from the “Bismarck EP” on Bang Gang 12 Inches), to help us through slow and hot days like these. The new single “Thief” just dropped and this remix we just received comes from Japanese demon electro producer Shinichi Osawa (other remixes courtesy of Nile Delta, The Death Set, The Aspirins for My Children). Their new album “Cities Of Gold” was produced by Ewan Pearson and will be out on etc etc in September.

We featured a mix from the Bang Gang 12 Inches crew yesterday, here comes a remix taken from the Bag Raiders “Turbo Love” remix EP which happens to be the latest release on the label and of course it’s brilliant stuff . Fellow Australian KIM (one half of The Presets) brings us a synth driven monster which is bound to get your body moving.

Weekend mix from our friends down under – namely Bang Gang, you can expect it to include stuff like this:
“It has a bunch of new music and unreleased music from our label along with bunch of other Aussie stuff and some other not heard bits and pieces…PS. It’s not proper techno”

Hamburg production duo Hey Today! released their debut single on French label Kitsuné last year but their upcoming release “Wonderman” (drops this week with remixes from French boy genius Bobmo and Australian wonders Van She Tech) comes courtey of those hip Aussies in Bang Gang 12 Inches. The title track is a piece of pumping electro with Daft Punk esque vocoder vocals and epic “middle of the night hands in the air” breakdowns.
