YDG – Baphomet

Mar 27 2019

Bass producer YDG just dropped a massive single ‘Baphomet’ with huge production and sound design. With one click of the play button you will be out of your seat ready to take on the world. Let out your inner beast and give this dude a listen.

Young gun producer Just Max recently dropped a massive flip of Louis the Child’s ‘Better Not.’ Starting out with a super vibey intro filled with the original vocal complimented by the producer’s special piano touch, the remix finishes with Just Max’s signature guitar shredding solo.

Ocean County based producer DEVAULT returns with a top notch production featuring the vocals of songstress Ayelle. The way her sultry vocals wrap about the rhythmic bass production is encapsulating and addicting. I’ve had this one on repeat all day!

Emmitt Fenn has made quite the name for himself in the electronic music scene within the last year. First, he made us fall in love with his emotional downtempo bass ballade “Painting Greys” and now he returns with a new pop crossover track featuring Nylo, “Oceans”.

Option4 takes a trip down under with his “Activate” release on Sweat It Out’s club-friendly little brother, Club Sweat. Here, we premiere “DOAUK,” an acronym for “Death Of An Underground King…” and an homage to the subterranean beats and flavors that have now found their way into the manipulative hands of the mainstream. Ominous melodies punctuate the shuffling rhythm and brooding bass drones while some uplifting pads appear for a brief glimmer before extinguishing into the ethers.

Available soon via Club Sweat and later this year on the forthcoming Kitsune` compilation.

Benzi & eSenTRIK don their TWRK moniker to unleash a new EP on Diplo’s Mad Decent imprint. The “We Are TWRK EP” pulls together a diverse package of 4 tunes and provides a variety of shades within the bubbling scene. Opener, “Helicopter,” is as ruff as it gets with choppy vocals and booty-bumpin beats. “Make It Bounce” ft. NOLA mc, Fly Boi Keno, is there homage to real southern Bounce music while “Spring Break” is a call to arms for all sand dwelling, collegiate party-goers. The most compelling of the bunch though is “Dump It,” with its melancholic pads and inspirational vocal quotes.

John Parish is London based producer, parjo01 and this is his new EP on Club Soda Records. Though characterized as a “Bass-Music label,” this release has heavy House vibes and touches of vintage Techno. Trippy vocal snips and creepy music-box samples permeate the original and the Mella Dee remix amps up the inherent, warehouse nature with some stabby chords and hypnotic bass. The DFRNT version gets deep like ALVIN on an exploratory mission to Atlantis…. hold your breath!

Available on 12″ and digi February 17th.

Heavy pressure from the one and only Worthy on his personal imprint, Anabatic Records. The dirtybird affiliate lays down a double slab of his signature sound; all rumbling 808’s, funky breaks, sampled vox and cavernous reverbs. Party starters for sure.
