Chairlift & Kool A.D – Party (Beyonce Cover)

A little disappointed by Jay-Z and Yeezy’s kaleidoscopic mishmash of concert footage? Enjoy some smoother than grocery store wine cooler vibes on the collaboration between Chairlift and Das Racist’s Kool A.D instead, which reworks Carter family member Beyonce’s material into a dreamy mishmash of wispy exaltation, and a rap where Kool A.D repeats Lenny Kravitz’s name like he’s trying to raise a demon from the 7th layer of hell. Our brothers from another mother in premier Helsinki crew Top Billin just unleashed this monster of a party edit. Beyoncé’s new single “Countdown” received the remix touch from Jack Beats but the Top Billin fellas decided this wasn’t enough so they polished it up a notch in order for it to pop off proper.

This first-ever “piano mixtape” offers a unique and masterful blend of Chilly’s piano and orchestral sounds with hip hop beats and electro. Among the artists featured on the mixtape we find 50 Cent, Daft Punk, Busta Rhymes, Claude Von Stroke, Clipse and Kelly Clarkson.

Swedish singer/songwriter Montt Mardié with “Det Bästa I Världen”, a low key and heartfelt cover version of the epic R Kelly track “The World’s Greatest”.
