Walls – Coracle Remixes

The duo of Alessio Natalizia and Sam Willis, also known as Walls, have released a remix package of their 2011 album Coracle. The remixes take each track deeper into the lo-fi ambient vibe that characterized the original album. Synth murmurs and minimal drum machine beats leave you feeling lost in a dreamy haze and provide a perfect soundtrack for an afternoon laying in the grass under the sun. Stream the remixes below by Holy Other, John Tejada, Perc, Voigt, and Capracara.

Check out this booming collection of Miami Bass with a smattering of other uptempo rap hits from the 80s and 90s, and remember that you don’t have to be in Sydney to enjoy this mix.

The Aston Shuffle – Won’t Get Lost EP

Australian production duo The Aston Shuffle has just released a new EP, Won’t Get Lost, via NYC-based record label Plant Music. The momentum has been building for these guys since 2010 when they won the top spot in Australia’s biggest DJ poll, inthemix50. Since then, Vance Musgrove and Mikah Freeman have acquired a weekly radio show called “Friday Night Shuffle” on ABC’s Triple J and released their debut full length album, Seventeen Past Midnight. Needless to say, these guys have become known to consistently make frothy dance floor fillers and Won’t Get Lost is no different. Stream the EP with remixes by Solo, Flume, 69 Bulls, Swick and Rufus.
