Kingdom – Mind Reader (L-Vis 1990 remix)

We’ve been waiting for this track to drop for what seems like an eternity. Kingdom gave us one of the biggest and baddest tracks of 2009. Now the good people over at Fool’s Gold is releasing the digital EP (grab the beautiful vinyl copy from Acephale Records over here) of “Mind Reader” and it comes backed with some serious remixes from Night Slugs hero Bok Bok, house legend Todd Edwards and this flexing number from Kingdoms bass brethren over in London,L-Vis 1990.

Bok Bok grime mix

Fellow Grinder and London based bass demon Bok Bok is one half of Night Slugs (together with L-Vis 1990, watch out for the first release from Mosca on their newly started label with the same name). He gives us a mix done for the fellas over at Let’s Mix (the mix section of Pacemaker) with a fine selection of some of the best grime this side of the millenium.

31 only a fool would do that copy

Only A Fool

Marine Parade just featured the AC Slater dub remix of the Freeland track “Only a Fool” on the new Freeland remix compilation “Cope Remixed”. Now, AC gives us the vocal version which stays true to his form of producing smashing tracks that also features some of that smittening wobble bass. AC Slater is about to put out a new single which will distributed for free via blogs in November and he also has a new single dropping in February on Trouble & Bass + his “Calm Down” EP will be released in March.

Paris dynamic duo Kazey & Bulldog’s latest release, “Ridin’ High Vol. 1″ was just released last week. The vinyl is already sold out but they just unleashed the six b-more bangers on digital format (available over at the usual suspects such as Turntable Lab, Juno and Boomkat etc.). To get a feel what you’re in for, heres two tasters; The pitch shifting heater “Ballin” and “Big Truck II”, which is the sequel to the now classic club track from last year’s “Dirty Wheels EP” on Dress 2 Sweat (L-Vis 1990 & Bok Bok, Rod Lee, and many more).
