On Friday September 7th we receive another edition of the Poolside series from Toolroom Records. “Poolside Ibiza 2018” is basically your essential collection of summer tracks to soundtrack those long hazy days spent by the pool, two very talented DJs were recruited to mix this year’s edition. They both hail from Portugal – Moullinex and Xinobi (the pair have releases on labels such as Ministry Of Sound, Nervous, Gomma, Anjunadeep) and they might just be two of the biggest artists in the indie dance/nu-disco world

The 40 tracks from a whole host of A-List DJs and producers including Moullinex, Xinobi, Eli & Fur, Moon Boots, Tensnake, Booka Shade, Hot Toddy, Art Of Tones, Cavego, Perel, Mambo Brothers, NTEIBINT, Justin Jay, Franky Rizardo, Bruxas, David Hohme, Moscoman, Simple Symmetry, Ali Kuru and many more alongside a brand new exclusive from Boys Get Hurt with Moullinex & Xinobi’s two full length DJ mixes completing the package.

For the last nineteen years Ghent, Belgium based festival I Love Techno has emerged as one of Europe’s biggest & most pioneering indoor events and attracts 35.000 visitors from around the world every year.

This year the event takes place on Saturday November 9th, we’ll see top acts such as Laurent Garnier, Len Faki and Booka Shade along with new talents such as Breach, Disclosure, Duke Dumont, Klangkarussell, Baauer, RL Grime and Flosstradamus. A very special event during the festival features French techno producer Gesaffelstein who is presenting his long awaited debut album at I Love Techno in an exclusive live show. He also made the official I Love Techno 2013 mix album which sees him following in the footsteps of such luminaries as Erol Alkan, Dave Clarke, Steve Aoki and Crookers. The mix album is available in all major record and digital download stores.

It’s no secret that we’ve been fans of Grum (Graeme Shepherd) since the beginning, back when this big old blogosphere was still in its infancy. His debut “Heartbeats” in 2010 set the internet afire, a flame that spread to ignite the nu disco craze of the last few years. Now Grum prepares to release his sophomore album “Everytime” in early 2014 but before that, he’s been gracious enough to put together an exclusive mix for us. London producer Russ Chimes is one of the hottest producers and DJs to emerge out of Britain, this is due to his hypercharged electropop and beatdriven dance music that has conquered dancefloors and airwaves across the globe. He’s also been quite busy with huge remixes for the likes of Mark Ronson, Booka Shade, Kelis, Marina & The Diamonds and Ellie Goulding.
