French duo Bot’Ox are releasing a series of EPs over the course of the next year, the first of which is out today. “Basement Love” features remixes by Pachanga Boys, Richard Fearless, and band member Cosmo Vitelli. The band also created a cool video for the title track that’s complete with epilepsy inducing strobe lights and an impassioned solo number on the dance floor.
Bot’Ox is the brainchild of the two French producers Cosmo Vitelli and Julien Briffaz, they’re tackling 2009 head on with the release of a trilogy of singles on Cosmo Vitellis own label I’m A Cliche Records. This first single has already garnered attention from the likes of: James Murphy, James Holden, Busy P, Pilooski, Optimo, Simian Mobile Disco and Chloé etc.
As a bonus we got the hard hitting, handclap and cowbell driven Yuksek remix of “Rue de L’Arsenal” for your downloading pleasure.
