supernature

Simon Iddol takes a step away from writing about music to become a music maker with a remix of Cerrone’s “Supernature.” Simon is no stranger to music production, having been on Hungary’s DJ circuit for several years. This edit of Cerrone is a tribute to the artist and here, Simon’s added subtle changes, maintaining the original ambient integrity of the track. “Supernature” is a love affair for me, this song saved my life many times,” says Simon. “This time I wanted to do something really true to the original, to show the eternal beauty of the song.”

As a special treat, you can grab the free download of the track but be quick about it – it’s only available to the first 100 people!

From his blinding reworks of Al Green and Frances Joli to his exceptional releases on Hot Digits Music and Whiskey Disco, if you are a fan of disco and funk archeology, you best get familiar.

Here we have his remix of the legendary, ‘Supernature’ by Cerrone, for a Beatport hosted competition. Check out the other submissions, and if you’re so inclined, give our man a vote here.
