Le Prix & Johan Agebjörn (ft. Lake Heartbeat) – Watch The World Go By

It’s been a while since we posted about Swedish producer Johan Agebjörn but he just e-mailed us about the premiere of his latest single together with Le Prix and Lake Heartbeat, “Watch The World Go By” will be released by Lo recordings on April 12th with remixes from Skatebård and Teen Daze. The track is also the first single off his upcoming album “Casablanca Nights” (to be released in May with guests CFCF, Sally Shapiro, Fred Ventura, Queen Of Hearts, Wolfram, Legowelt and Ercola etc.).

The track itself is another glorious example of his production skills, a lovely piece of gleaming italodisco with subdued vocals that carries the icy beat perfectly.

oki-ni presents: REINCARNATION by CFCF

Montreal producer CFCF (now residing in Paris) with a perfect sunday mix that was done for UK clothing store oki-ni.

“After providing the soundtrack to our spring/summer ’11 preview video, CFCF returns to oki-ni with REINCARNATION, an eclectic and haunting mix combining his current fixations, a few oddities, and a handful of previously unheard CFCF tracks, made exclusively for this mix. As a mix REINCARNATION contains the same synth-heavy melancholy as “The River”, while also being more of a mixed bag. It is a mixture of CFCF’s current fixations, dancefloor favourites, and a liberal sprinkling of ‘strange ones’, the most strange being from the expansive Japanese music collective Geinoh Yamashirogumi. However, despite – and perhaps even because of – the strange moments, this mix retains both teen angst and a boyish sense of wonder, typical of an artist who began his career in his bedroom, making and listening to music just for the fun of it.”
