Chairlift & Kool A.D – Party (Beyonce Cover)

A little disappointed by Jay-Z and Yeezy’s kaleidoscopic mishmash of concert footage? Enjoy some smoother than grocery store wine cooler vibes on the collaboration between Chairlift and Das Racist’s Kool A.D instead, which reworks Carter family member Beyonce’s material into a dreamy mishmash of wispy exaltation, and a rap where Kool A.D repeats Lenny Kravitz’s name like he’s trying to raise a demon from the 7th layer of hell. MP3 please.

Rewards (ft. Solange Knowles) – Equal Dreams (Eddie Mars remix)

Rewards is the solo project from Chairlift co-founder Aaron Pfenning and “Equal Dreams” (released yesterday) is his new single on DFA. The original is an upbeat percussion laced sensual track. Brooklyn based Eddie Mars from Vietcong Disco fame sticks in a thumping bassline that along with the smooth weaved in vocals from Solange Knowles gives the track an even more dreamlike and deep feeling.

Evident Utensil

Brooklyn based indie trio Chairlift (singer Caroline Polachek recently worked with Chi-town duo Flosstradamus) are about to embark on a European tour and they also just dropped this remix by London super producer/dj Sinden (who’s coming to Malmö in a few weeks time for a gig together with dubstep wonderchild Skream at The Rumble) of their track “Evident Utensil” which sees Sinden adding some funkiness and giving the track a blissed out tropical summer anthem feel.

Flosstradamus – Big Bills

First thing we’ve heard from the Flosstradamus boys for some time and it’s their first original track. “Big Bills” is a dancey synthpop jam with vocals from Caroline Polachek (of Chairlift).
