Remember that styrofoam cup that Lil Wayne was carrying around with him pre and post-arrest? Well this new Babe Rainbow edit of “I’m Single” is the audio equivalent of what the stuff inside that cup tastes like.

Babe Rainbow – Samples

You probably remember Babe Rainbow as that charming hat enthusiast who saran wrapped his face and made a series of disturbing chopped & screwed edits this summer, forever adding a sinister side to Soulja Boy that just wasn’t there before.

Now, BC producer Cameron Reed has assembeled four tracks completely comprised of samples, which sounds like Three 6 Mafia playing keyboards at an abandoned church half the time, and what drowning must feel like the other half. All in all, it’s perfect music for getting lost in a snowstorm.

Bonus points if you can guess the samples in the comments.

Usher & Jeezy, Lil Wayne – Chopped and screwed

Patrick North, who is pretty much all out awesome, tipped us off about these two chopped and screwed versions of two of the biggest tracks in hip-hop right now. We’ve been listening to them pretty much non-stop during the weekend.

Houston native DJ Young Redd takes on the new Lil Wayne joint “Lollipop” and also the smash hit AKA the Usher & Young Jeezy collaboration “Love In This Club”. Who knew that chopped and screwed versions of tracks could sound so dramatic and heartfelt? This is perfect for the lazy sunday we’re having over here at Discobelle HQ, but since these tracks pretty much slays all the competition right now you should jam this at every occasion we can think of!
