Vancouver producers BLONDTRON and WASPY have joined forces on a new project called BnW and their latest release breathes new life into one of my all-time favorite hip-hop duos Clipse. BnW takes Clipse’s “Mr. Me Too” (produced by Pharrell) and turns it into an ass shaking club floor anthem that any guy or gal can really get behind. “We wanted to capture a retro summer vibe, like if Mark Morrison and Fresh Prince had a love child that was driving a droptop Cadillac while hammered.”

Two weeks holiday without internet and now i’m playing catch up to the massive amount of e-mails that have descended upon the Discobelle mailbox, so apologies if you’ve already seen this around.

Tyler The Creator of hyped up L.A based collective Odd Future steps up to this hard hitting Pharrell Williams produced track together with one of our favorite rappers Pusha T, you know we’ve always had a weak spot for those drug romantics in Virginia rap outfit The Clipse. Pusha spits as sinister as ever and Tyler lurches around with an evil swag.

“Cocaine’s a hell of a drug, who else could put the hipsters with felons and thugs?”

BONUS: Tyler seems to have had the time to record a summer mix (featuring most of his influences) for you kiddies to enjoy when you’re at camp. (Via The Fader)
