British Grammy-winning producer Paul Epworth has worked with the likes of Adele, Coldplay, Bloc Party, Florence + The Machine, and Lana Del Rey. He released his new single “Love Galaxy” featuring Jay Electronica and Lil Silva about a month ago.

Now he unearths his Phones alter ego for a smooth and steadfast lo-fi house edit of the single track.

“Phones is back. The name I first released music under 17 years ago. Under the alias I remixed everyone from U2 to P Diddy between 2003 and 2013 and felt like time to bring the lo-fi house moniker back for a once over ‘Love Galaxy’.

Times have changed but Phones is still cheap.”

With the 100th release of his self created imprint Strange Fruits, Steve Void debuted his new single “Closure” featuring vocals from Andy Marsh. The two came together writing a hit that is bubbly and infectious filled with strings, dreamy piano chords and angelic vocals the likes of Chris Martin. Alongside the single they released a cute lyric video filled with peculiar fruits.

Last day of 2008 and somehow we never got around to post this (along with a ton of other stuff). Here’s a track from Swedish dj duo UMYO that have consistently been providing us with quality productions, their remixes/edits are always on point but also alot of fun. Here they continue their collaboration with up and coming Swedish rappers, Lorentz & M.Sakarias with a new take on their own remix of Wiz Khalifas “Say Yeah” where they make excellent use of the Coldplay track “Viva La Vida”. Keep an eye out for them in 2009!
