Our collaboration with Into The Valley – one of Europe’s finest electronic dance music festivals – continues with a shimmering mix of discoish tunes from Swedish dj Olof Uhlin.

“A few old and new vinyl spins chosen on the fly, recorded in one take in a dear friend’s home… The mix is meant to get you dreaming yourself off into a deep Swedish limestone quarry in the summer!”

PS. Don’t forget the exclusive competition for two tickets to the festival, just answer this question: How many stages are there at the festival? and send an e-mail to: holla@discobelle.net with “Into The Valley” in the subject line. You have until 23:59 CET June 28th.

We’ve once again partnered up with Swedish headphone company Urbanears for a competition where you could win a pair of the limited edition Urbanears x ADE 2015 Zinken DJ headphones.

“Zinken is a DJ headphone extraordinaire. Its full-size on-ear construction isolates you from outside noise, so you can hear deep bass and crisp mids and highs. Packed with features, Zinken comes with the dual-duty TurnCable for an adapter-free life, and the ZoundPlug for instant music sharing. Comfort is key, especially during those long sessions, so we’ve designed Zinken with swivel ear caps and an adjustable headband. Back in the real world, use Zinken’s handy microphone and remote to pick up calls on the go.”

Just answer this simple question: What year did Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) start? Send your answer to us with the subject line “Urbanears x ADE” and you could be one of the lucky winners.

And if you’re in Amsterdam next week, be sure to check out all the fun over at Urbanears The View location.

The second artist to release a mix in the Into The Valley X Discobelle collaboration is not only a DJ, but has also figured frequently in both Swedish and English radio with mixes and hosting radio shows. She’s been in the game for a couple of years now and has gone from playing at recognized underground clubs to some of Sweden’s biggest arenas and festivals, and aslo done guest appearances in London, Copenhagen, the US and Asia. This mix is inspired by Linny’s 2015, her best year as a DJ so far since starting back in 2008. It consists of mostly newly released techno with fast drums and groovy percussions, and in Linny’s own words: ”it’s perfect for dancing out in the open while the sun is rising”.

We are also giving away two tickets to the Into The Valley Festival to one lucky winner. For a chance to win them, send us an e-mail and tell us why you should get them. We will pick the winner on July 13th so get your e-mail in before that.
