The Italian duo Crookers have become known for their frantic electro and forward thinking clubs sounds designed to get an entire dancefloor drenched in sweat. They just released their debut album “Dr Gonzo” on which they’ve condensed the energy of their dj sets down to 60 minutes.

We here at Discobelle can present with you the funky, rattling bass filled and synthlaced track “Monkey Face” that even manages to throw in some saxophone sounding action and a break designed for destruction, this track is only available on the limited edition “Hummus” 7″ (200 copies) which you can get from crookers.net.

British boutique oki-ni continues with their mix series, the 37th volume sees German techhouse producer Tensnake providing us with a exciting mix of: “…Almost like a sort of musical diary, some of the tracks are by people that I have met, or on labels that I work with, some are old favourite ‘on repeats’ and others simply caught my attention when I heard them and take be straight back to that place again.”

To celebrate the release of the mix, they have an exclusive run of signed Tensnake Live + box sets including a limited edition t-shirt with artwork from Dutch conceptual design agency Droog which are up for grabs by tweeting at @okini and @mixcloud the reason why you should win one, with the most creative entry taking the prize.

Trailerpark Festival kicks off

Today marks the starting day for the fourth edition of the Trailer Park Festival which will take place for the duration of the weekend (Friday July 30th to Sunday August 1st) at the Copenhagen Skatepark. Lovingly organized by the good and hard working ArtRebels crew, this festival is not to be missed if you live in the vicinity of Copenhagen. This years lineup brings us Caribou, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, DJ Hell, Renaissance Man, Round Table Knights, Toro Y Moi, Wareika, Djuma Soundsystem, We Have Band, Peter Visti and many many more.

We hosted a competition the other day and we’ve now drawn two lucky winners. Congratulations to Kristian Madsen and Julia Szulc, you’ve both won two passes each for the festival!

Sunday night will bring us a performance from our favorite Hamburg house trio, Wareika. Check their latest video below.

Surkin x Discobelle

Producer/dj and dancemusic maestro Surkin is one of the top young producers from France and should need no further introduction. A few months ago he dropped his third EP on Institubes, the excellent “Silver Island EP” (it has gained alot of recognition from top dj’s around the world) and is currently hard at work with his debut album which should be coming out in the fall.

Discobelle in conjunction with Institubes and Phunk Promotions now give you a chance to win a smashing price package and also give you a special never before seen mix that Surkin recently did for Japanese brand Revolver and booker Ganban (Surkin x Revolver x Ganban collaboration tee coming very soon).
