Hamburg based producer Boris Dlugosch just unleashed the absolutely huge “Bangkok” single on the Erol Alkan owned Phantasy Sound label, we posted the video a few days ago and then our Swedish brethren in Pom Pom used the even bigger Roska remix for their fantastic edition of our Mixin’ It Up series. This of course meant that we somehow had to find a way to give the remix to our faithful readers and thanks to Darling Department here it is…

Riton & Primary 1 getting a lending hand for their synthlaced monster “Who’s There?” (EP will be out next week on Phantasy Sound) from Swedish wonder Style Of Eye and from one our favorite UK geezers, L-Vis 1990. Both of them showing off their stuff but in way different manners. Style Of Eye delivers a strutty 8 minute opus twisting the synthline into circus mode and pitching the vocals down to scary, L-Vis 1990 on the other hand gives us a remix where he keeps the “Who’s There?” chorus + pressing the synth into manic mode all while adding some of that UK funky which you should know by now. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (or TEED) are affiliated with Hot Chip and the Greco-Roman camp (who are releasing their debut EP “All In One Sixty Dancehalls” on June 15th). Thanks to the fine people over at Darling Department we got the dark, dubsteppy/heavy bass filled Tomb Crew remix of “Bournemouth”, the original version on the other hand is a fuzzy and bouncy summer affair sounding like:

“Fusing tons of samples with jackin’ beats, like Avalanches as produced by Herve and Sinden”.
