We go way back with Dave Nada and Tittsworth and they’ve both been staples here at Discobelle HQ with a steadfast stream of quality releases throughout the last decade, this of course means that we’re extra delighted to be able to share their brand new collaboration track “Slo Ur Roll”, a dark and moody and absolutely stellar club track with a mid track tempo change.

The track is taken from Los Angeles based label Understated Recordings’ debut compilation release “All of U|S, VOL / 001” which is released tomorrow November 9th, the compilation features various flavours of house and tech-house from the likes of LA Riots, Lupe Fuentes, Anakim, Modus, Grensta, 28mm, Thomas Garcia, Nonfiction, Roy Wilkins, Missy B Joluca, WhereIsFenix, Lok N Key, Michael Fam, and Ucros.

“Dave and I have been hard at work preparing for the launch of our label, Hermanito. As a result we were introduced to Andrew via Create/Label Engine, where we became fans of Understated. From there I started work on this song specifically for the label. It i came together pretty quickly and Dave’s well known tendency to cut tempo came through once again (but maybe the song is also about aging ravers) haha? Excited to be a part of Understated fam and had a blast at my first event recently– really dope downtown warehouse party vibes. Even semi-effectively slowed my roll that night– made it in before sunrise!” – Tittsworth

Mattie Safer first captured the public’s attention with his era-defining work as the bassist and co-lead vocalist in seminal NYC outfit The Rapture. He’s gearing up to release his new EP “All We Are (Remixes)” on June 30th. The single features remixes of songs from his debut solo EP “All We Are”.

We here at Discobelle can premiere the remix from moombahton pioneer Dave Nada which is basically a sultry lovers jam for those that feel like slow dancing their summer away.

Dave Nada and Matt Nordstrom are dj/production duo Nadastrom who in the past couple of years have made dancefloor across the globe sweat buckets, they managed to find some time during their hectic 4 All tour (that they’re doing together with Salva and Sinden) to record the smashing Full Cycle mix done exclusively for Red Bull Music.

This best of 2010 latin underground mix from Dirty South Joe (of the Mad Decent/Brick Bandits crews) was just posted over on Generation Bass (one of our favorite blogs) and it comes packed with a punch with brilliant execution and a tracklist that covers everything from moombahton to 3ball, nuevo cumbia, house etc.

“This set was recorded LIVE at the infamous PYT Philly restaurant & bar in Philadelphia, PA on Dec 26th 2010 for http://radsummer.com radio, as part of the Rad Summer “Best of 2010″ series. Some atmospheric moombahton, nuevo cumbia, 3ball, house, etc…I figured “Best of Latin Underground” was a vague enough yet apt description for the sound. It was also recorded the night Teena Marie (RIP) passed away :( so “Portuguese Love” is in there as well. :) Check out the exclusive 3ball MTY Tim Dolla remixes from Sheeqo Beat & DJ Otto!! Forthcoming on Cool Records in 2011!! Big up Flufftronix for the invitation as well as collaborating with me on some exciting projects this past year. Did I mention our new label, Cool Records?!!! Big up the godfather, Toy Selectah for his nonstop pursuit of musical innovation & nurturing the amazing Mexican underground sound & scene. Big up Dave Nada for creating Moombahton and giving DJs an entirely new BPM range to explore on the dancefloor, as well as being one of the most genuine and positive people I know. Last but not least, BIG UP the homies at http://generationbass.com for being the best music blog of 2010 and a constant source of inspiration. Do those dudes ever sleep??”

“The Drop” is the first official original from the Riots, mixing new musical experimentation with years of road-tested club confidence. Endlessly kinky riffs and jacking kickdrums have already made it a festival favorite, and it comes backed by two mindbending remixes from Duke Dumont and a stomping four-on-the-floor take from TJR. B-side “Bombah” is a planet rock party starter, flipped by Deadfish don Mowgli and Nadastrom’s Dave Nada. Yet even with such a dynamic remix lineup it’s all about the original tunes, setting the stage for many more LA Riots firestarters to come!”

Starks & Nacey are two-thirds of Nouveau Riche, a monthly party in Washington DC that was started back in 2006 by fellow dj Gavin Holland. Starks & Nacey are known for their high-energy sets and have shared the stage with the likes of The Count & Sinden, AC Slater, Nadastrom, MSTRKRFT, Blaqstarr, Miami Horror, Scottie B and Eli Escobar to name a few. Their excellent “Time Run Out/Lydia EP” was just released last week on T&A Records and this first official moombahton remix from fellow DC power duo Nadastrom isn’t actually on the EP but nonetheless, it bangs pretty hard.
