The weekend is over, but have no fear, we think we might have the song you need to get you through the day. Campana & Manteloupe have dropped a new song called “Beyond the Clouds” that has us absolutely ready to conquer anything and will surely have you feeling the same way as well.

Featuring help from MistaDC and Paris Alexa, the track is a part of Campana & COSMOS: Moonshine album that will be out tomorrow.

Check out the track below.

It’s rainy here in the city of Los Angeles, where me and a couple other writers reside. It’s made the city feel bleak and dark, but luckily we’ve got some great tunes coming our way that’s saving us from the pains of this week.

Geoffro is most famous for his work with Flume, which has already gotten him nominated for a Grammy, but he’s ready to start making a bigger name for himself within the public eye. The Cleveland-native is vulnerable to the audience in his new track “Quicksand,” and his incredibly intricate production and stunning lyrics make this easily one of the best thing we’ve heard this week.

On the track, he notes:

“This song has a couple themes inspired by a relationship, but also seems to reflect the weird times we’re going through in the world today. I got to work writing this song immediately after my first session with Flume”

Morgan St. Jean is a LA based singer who’s been carving her name in the R&B music scene. “Out of Love” and “Reckless” showcase her stunning vocals and lyrical prowess, and with the year slowly ending before our eyes, she sat down to tell us her favorite music.

Listen and read her explanations below!

My taste in music can be pretty eclectic so for this playlist I tried to separate it into two distinct parts. The first half consists of classic heartbreaking ballads from some of my all time favorites. The second focuses on the artists that I’m listening to right now. It’s a little more modern than the first half. Hope you enjoy xx

Fast Car – This is one of my all time favorite songs. I think it is the epitome of good story telling.

I Can’t Make You Love Me – This is my favorite song in the world to sing and has been for many years. I love the Bonnie Raitt version but Bon Iver has such unique and gorgeous take as well.

If I Ain’t Got You – If I had to pick one artist to always put at the top of my list it would be Alicia Keys. She is so honest and raw and powerful and I love her so much.

When We Were Young – I think of Adele as the perfect combination of timeless and modern. She has taken classically great singing and great story-telling and made it work for today’s Top 40.

I Will Always Love You – I think all singers are obsessed with this song. Not much to even say about it because it’s so amazing.

Let It Go – I love how simple and honest this song is. I was really moved the first time I heard it and it has become one of my all time favorite sad down songs.

Gone – I cried the first time I heard this song which pretty much says it all. Also, I saw Lianne La Havas live and it made me love her even more even though I didn’t think that was possible.

Mourning Doves – I think this song is so beautifully sung and it incorporates some really tasteful, cool production. It’s hooky and sad at the same time and I dig that.

Coffee – I saw Miguel live recently and it changed my life. Since then I have not been able to stop listening to this song. I am obsessed.

Bourbon – Clearly I have a thing with drinks but Gallant’s talent is mind-blowing to me and I freaked out the first time I heard the line “Angels say trust the detox but I’m shaking I need it like bourbon in my coffee cup.” So great.

Coastal has been growing his name in the 2016 music climate, and with that, the talented artist is ready to close out the year with a bang and dive into the next year. The producer and artist has given us a playlist of his favorite tracks, which explore everyone from Daedelus, JATO, Zuma., and more!

Listen to the playlist below.

We’re excited to be premiering this new remix of Leo Islo’s “Blame” by Jamie Prado. The mellow dance piece is perfect for this Monday afternoon, and we can’t stop playing it as we get through the day. According to the press release, the remix was “inspired by his frequent trips to Colombia,” where “he took inspiration … to produce this beautiful remix that features delicate guitar riffs, hypnotic piano chords, and soft drum arrangements.

“The Golden Grave EP” is out now, and can be found here, the remix EP pre-order can be found here.

Tate Tucker has been gaining some serious clout in the LA underground, and today we’re excited to premiere “HCIBM,” which chronicles the profundity of falling in love. The resulting work is stunning and emotionally charged to the max. The track might be Tucker’s best, and if he is closing out the year with this, then he’s definitely got some serious work cut out to top it in 2017.

About “HCIBM”, he notes to us in an email- “After a year of putting this project together, it’s incredible to finally get this first song out. I’ve been going through a lot with my family this year, and this has been one of those tracks that’s kept our glasses half full. 2016 has been full of a lot of hate, I’m tryna break down the mystique of love and the need to always dilute it. This track is love, distilled to its purest form and served over intricate 808s and smooth chords. Enjoy the first chapter of the All In EP.”

Common Souls (comprised of guitarist/vocalist Ryan Yoo & keyboardist/drummer Nick Velez) dub their music “ESM”: Electronic Sad Music, and considering everything that’s happening around us in the US, this song seems a little bit appropriate.

“Roots//Habit” is emotional and stunning, and this work is indicative of their long career ahead. Citing James Blake, Kanye, Frank Ocean, and “weirder” artists including Gabriel Garón-Montano as major influences, Common Souls is ecstatic to release their debut EP, “Pyramid Lake”.

Dragonette has been gearing up for their album lately, and the tracks we’ve heard so far have been a beautiful blend of pop and electronic, making it the perfect piece to listen to as we get into the colder season.

To continue the momentum they’ve been building, the group has released their newest track, “Detonate,” with us exclusively today. The pop-influenced track brings energy and excitement to the dreary election Tuesday and is the perfect piece to kickstart the week.
