Portuguese producer/dj Bruno Cardoso is better known as Xinobi and the Lisbon based producer is now delighted to announce his return in the form of new single “Piano Lessons”. The three track single is slated for release this Friday, May 17th via Discotexas.

The single consists of two tracks that are both rooted and built around the piano. The piano being the most important element here, building on an idea that occurred to Xinobi, that of trying to learn the piano and then integrate it as much as possible on future releases, of which this marks the first. We here at Discobelle can proudly premiere the steadfast and housey title track “Piano Lessons” which has a classical feel with a jazzed up arrangement that makes this track twist like a snake until it finally explodes into a straight up ethereal banger.

“Piano Lessons came as pure magic, it was recorded and played a bit randomly, I’ve only added a few small tweaks when producing the track. Proof it was a magical moment the first time around. I have since tried to play it again and still can’t get as close to the soul I can feel in the original recording. Proof to me that that first time around was truly a magical moment”

On Friday September 7th we receive another edition of the Poolside series from Toolroom Records. “Poolside Ibiza 2018” is basically your essential collection of summer tracks to soundtrack those long hazy days spent by the pool, two very talented DJs were recruited to mix this year’s edition. They both hail from Portugal – Moullinex and Xinobi (the pair have releases on labels such as Ministry Of Sound, Nervous, Gomma, Anjunadeep) and they might just be two of the biggest artists in the indie dance/nu-disco world

The 40 tracks from a whole host of A-List DJs and producers including Moullinex, Xinobi, Eli & Fur, Moon Boots, Tensnake, Booka Shade, Hot Toddy, Art Of Tones, Cavego, Perel, Mambo Brothers, NTEIBINT, Justin Jay, Franky Rizardo, Bruxas, David Hohme, Moscoman, Simple Symmetry, Ali Kuru and many more alongside a brand new exclusive from Boys Get Hurt with Moullinex & Xinobi’s two full length DJ mixes completing the package.

We at Discobelle can offer up the premiere of the track “Lost & Found” from Tokyo based producer Boys Get Hurt that features Tiago on vocals, it’s a superbly warm and sparking sounding House tune! Sit back, relax and unwind with Toolroom’s Poolside album.

This new release from Justin Faust and Discotexas has had me groovin’ all weekend. If you missed my coverage of the original mix, peep it here.

This time, I wax poetic on the tasty remix from NTEIBINT, who pitches the tempo down to slinkier territories with his low slung version. Italo stylings and a half-time, chordal breakdown soundtrack visions of a dancing Spacer Woman and her Capricorn Man, locked in a cosmic embrace of Cybernetic Love.

Hot of the presses, Munich-based, Discotexas alum, Justin Faust has dropped the first single from his forthcoming LP, ‘Spellbound.’ Here, we have the titular cut, a swanky jammer that features bubbly bongo riffs and skittering, layered arpeggios. A gorgeous, chordal breakdown adds to the tune’s cosmically epic leanings, like a land-speeder cruise thru the valleys of some distant, alien planet.

The forthcoming album drops September 19th on Discotexas.
