We first heard of Brenmar when we got his tasteful update of the classic DJ Deeon track “Freak Like Me”. “Kicked Beneath Too” is an original track and it’s just as amazing as his remix work, a straight up banger that we can’t wait to hear blasted on the Night Slugs show over on Rinse FM.

Brooklyn producer Brenmar does a smashing rendition of the classic ghetto house track “Freak Like Me”, originally made by Chicago legend DJ Deeon. Already playlisted by the Night Slugs massive (ie Bok Bok, Manara & L-Vis 1990) along with Ikonika, this remix is essentially a sped up version with some classic chopping of the vocals but simple is often the way to go and this is nothing short of gold.
