The Australian hip hop/electro/rock group Bumblebeez have been getting alot of blog love lately, mostly due to the release of their “Rio” single (that features remixes from big wig names such as Crookers and Herve). This remix of their track “Pump Up The Bass” sees the dynamic french duo, DJ Mehdi and his label boss Busy P take on the decks for a slow paced electro rocker.

Steed Lord (Mano remix)

Mano is the best thing to come out of the Chi since Kanyeezy and Steed Lord is the best thing to come out of Iceland since Black Death vodka. Together, they create what starts out sounding a bit like The Knife if they did b-more/club music and then it turns into more of a screwed down crunk track but with a Scandinavian twist.

The track is taken from the upcoming “Dirty Mutha EP” (with artwork by The Zonders) which will be released digitally sometime at the end of the month, it features remixes from Crookers, DJ Mehdi and Mano.

Also, for those of you in Scandinavia. Don’t miss Steed Lord at Festen! this weekend starting tonight in Stockholm and then they hit Oslo tomorrow.

Steed Lord was in a car accident yesterday so the shows are cancelled. We send them our warmest regards and wish them a quick recovery.
